Any Update for new buyers (for new model ) and will FAW disscontinued?

When i take drive experience of this vehicle i admirred and finally i want to buy this veh ( compromising resale factor).

So I contacted islamabad ( I-9) faw office/ showroom; and seems;
1. They are buesy in proton sales;
2. Faw v2; No ckd available and not made in current year
3. 2021 model not made/available.

I my thinking/fear that. FAW v2 may be disscontinued as in china so critical parts will not made in china for sending in pakistan.
Parts are already not avail in market; and if ckd stopped in pakistan ( like santro) then it can b a problems.

2ndly, sale and service already is very few but it seems that management will engage them to proton saga services and faw v2 may be through in backward prority...

NO to V2. its already outdated, faw has least interest in maintaining this vehicle in pakistan.

Wil X-PV be discontinued. Will parts be available of XPV? Currently have XPV.

As these are chinese engines so there is wear and tear. I think parts will be required by FAW owners on and off.

car sales are going pretty good generally
if they are not rolling out new units for sale it means its discontinued pretty much
parts should be available as FAW cant just pack an go
specially as they have alot of heavy vehicles / trucks etc on the road now

FAW xpv is great replacement to Bolan. I have driven it. It should be continued despite introduction of Proton.

My suggestion to you is, always buy a car from the big manufacturer, no matter how good the other product looks. I have been a happy v2 owner for past 3 years and the car is superior to every small vehicle out there (except Swift). But, after 3 years, I have realized how important resale is.

If you want to buy a small car, buy from Suzuki. In your case, Cultus will provide the best value for the money. You can go for the VXR option. If you want to buy a bigger car, jump straight over Saga, Alsvin etc. and get Yaris or Corolla, depending on your budget, or City / Civic if you like a little bit sporty ride. If you want a X-over / SUV, look no further than Kia or Hyundai. DO NOT buy anything else. End of advice.

You are right. I agree with you. Some of us have to look at our personal requirements, Suzuki doesnt produce a people carier that can be driven by senior citizens and ladies. Bolan is VERY difficult to drive. In joint family we cannot take two cars for daily trips. Suzuki does not give us any option. Honda Toyota simply don't care.

I wish life was as easy as buying a SUV in Pakistan right now, but SUVs don't fulfill every persons requirements.

YES! you were just right.... i was just near to buy v2 but like u some ppl suggested same as you that mold my mind.... i basically was need medium vehicle, but suzuki was not satisfy me ever due to its built quality,,, any way i explore the toyota vehicles and I have finally purchased Vitz 2014 spider shape...
