well i haVe lot of interest in doing acca.. but i have sum queries abt acca. . anybody doing acca. . thn pls answer these questions .. :

in how many years a person who is gud at studies can easily pass A.C.C.A ?? ?

is A.C.C.A harder thn C.A.. ? OR THEY R EQUAL? WATS THE DIFFRENCE?

is doing C.A.T necessary b4 doing a.c.c.a while u have passed intermediate level from pre engineerin ? ?

and watz the average monthly income of a person who has passed a.c.c.a and doing job in ENGLAND.. ? ?

1.cannot easily pass acca, there are 14 exams in total (3 arts)
If you pass all exams in 1st attempt, you can do acca in 2 1/2 years...and next 3 years you do internship.

1. Dont need to do CAT to do Acca but it is best route to go (at least i did), you will have a strong base and you get test exemption is acca. basically if you do CAT, you will be exempt from acca part 1 (3 tests) so only take 11 more exams to do acca (starting from 2.1, exemption is 1.1, 1.2, and 1.3)

2. acca is equivalent to CA.

CA has 6 modules total : A, B, C, D, E, F

If you pass ACCA, you are exempt from A, B, C, D.

When you go to acca internship for next 3 years, you can take internship with CA and take modules E and F.

SO YOU WILL HAVE BOTH ACCA AND CA DEGREES!!!

1. Time taken for CA on passing FIRST ATTEMPT EVERY PAPER:
   2 years study modules (A, B, C, D) + 3 1/2 years of internship and pass modules (E, F) =5 1/2 years YOU HAVE CA DEGREE

2. Time take for ACCA (2 1/2 years) + only 3 years internship which you can also do CA modules (E + F)= 5 1/2 years BOTH ACCA AND CA DEGREES!!!

Dont expect to get paid allot in pakistan with just ACCA...CA has monoply in paki.

ACCA is good international...it is like a "brand" name...employment in over 140 countries...

avg STARTING SALARY for acca is 20,000 (my principle told me) while CA is 50-60k so no value for acca in pakistan.

you need to define the criteria against which you want to evaluate ACCA with CA.. if you are just referring to the difficulty then ACCA is certainly easier n takes less time n less level of uncertainty.. but if u wish to rank it in terms of rewards.. i doubt ACCA in Pakistan can withstand CA! even abroad CA is considered more prestigious mainly due to age of the certification! ACCA is comparatively a much recent professional body as compared to ICAEW (if compared with other UK based bodies)

If you are referring to PAkistani perspective, then CA is definitely far more prestigious n rewarding but tougher n requires good luck in addition to hard work!!

i agree ca has higher salary and rewards in pakistan but abroad i am uncertain but if you are doing acca, why not also do CA? you still have to do the 3 year internship, just pass module E and F and you have both degrees which allows you to gain an edge if you go abroad.
