Depends on car. Some car's have these shims/clips to keep the pad's at their proper place and prevent them from rattling on bumps, etc..

How would you compare frixa with Japanese pads.
Last time I used Fuji brake pads and was pretty satisfied with it. Now I'm looking for something even better. Are Suzuki genuine the best ones available?.

Also I have heard good things about advics brake pads. They are also Japanese.
