I am going there in some days and apart from Australia, I want to include some other countries in my trip as well so i want to save as much as possible on accomodation and food and spend on air tickets (majboori).. so i am interested to know the cheapest accommodation option in Sydney where i have to stay for 8 days.

There is no cheap accommodation in Australia apart from few university hostels but as u are not a student .

Sorry if you don't need this information. However, for short term stay, it will be cheaper to search through www.airbnb.com, or www.gumtree.com
