i experienced it in 2010-11, bought one from Abid Market and capacty was 12000BTU or 1 Ton.
it was intended to put inside room, and cold air vents were on the top.
there is an exhaust pipe on the back of unit, which it supposed to go outside the room.
it was very noisy almost to uncomfortable level.
efficiency was low, used to make a small room a little comfortable but not chilled at all.
didnt had choice to put split or window unit, otherwise definitely gone for that
after 10 years, the technology might have been improved now.
