Anyone Using PTCL 256 Kbps Broadband?

Hi,

Anyone using PTCL 256kbps Broadband ?
PTCL has extended unlimited till 31 Dec 2011.
if yes then kindly tell me about its speed.
i know speed will b max 25kbp/s.
My question is is this pkg good enough for only browsing or Not? and YouTube can b play in this pkg speed or not.

So kindly share ur valuable comments if some one has any info.

256 kbps is good enough for browsing and playing youtube. If you want to download stuff i.e. Movies/Songs then do consider at least 1 Mbps.

^^ditto. 1mb pe ruk jati hai kae baar youtube, wo tou phir 256kbps hai+ noise margin mila kr koi 15,16kbps dwnld speed mile ge. Is se behtar hai dial up use krlo

My intention is only for web browsing. i know its speed will b slow and YouTube or any online video clips will not run faster. so is any member using 256kbps package, he can tell me exact its speed about web browsing. as have been already using 1mb link at home last 2 years. i want lowest dsl connection for my office use only. Thats y i m asking Ur opinions.

PTcl 1mb is minimum one should have.As youtube on 1mb also stops for buffering

It all depends on speed you get from 256kb connection. I used to have it in 2009-10 while i was in Pak and it serves the purpose for browsing, limited downloads and youtube. At times network status can cause buffering on youtube @10Mbps (my current connection) speed as well so you shouldn't complain with 256kbps. Rest its your choice like "Jitna gud dalo *** utna meetha ho ga"

256 is no gud for youtube. browsing, well, its so so...heavy sites can take some time
