Aoa. I have an issue in my honda city 2018 that my car lose RPM while driving toward monal at Islamabad. I have to put my car on the first gear. It lose power even in the 2nd gear. I changed pulg tune up my car clean throttle body but issue does not resolved.

That is what inclination does to your car I don't think there is anything to be worried about

There is weight of car and weight of passengers plus a slippery climb specially at turns

but if you still want to be sure please share mileage and major maintenance history of your car here

I have kept a city 2012 for 8 years and sold few months back. At low RPMs, it does not perform well and u feel a sudden push after 3000 rpm. It is due to VTEC engaging/ disengaging at that particular RPM. If this is the issue, then dont worry, its very much natural. However, if ur car has changed its behaviour as compared to how it was earlier, i would say it might be due to choked catalytic converter. Get that cleaned and InshAllah u wud be good to go

I think for steep slopes you should always stick to first gear... 2nd gear will not give you the torque to climb.

Planning a trip to Monal, Even my old cultus didn't break a sweat on Monal cherhai this is rather disappointing..

Does it drop rpm in first gear as well? As some parts are more steep so i usually go with a stable 2000-3000rpm in first gear if carrying load/passengers.
