AoA! Is it okay to install 205 r16 or 195 r16 tyres in Toyota Prius? I recently installed 215 r16 and it has affected the economy of my car so I’m thinking to downgrade to 205 or 195, will they work fine. I can’t use small tyres due to road conditions!

Yes effect on economy is there if u have wider tires. What was the stock tire size?

Stock were 185 r15, the car was running smooth fuel average was also good. But the problem was that the car was too low and speed bump here in Kp are like mountains.

use 205 my prius had them

195 r15. Stay as close as u can to the stock

If u want to increase rim size to r16 then 205 shud be max.

I downgraded to 215 r15 Yokohama Blue Earth. Now the vehicles performance has improved. @crude101
