y is there any requirement of 0W-20 oil in Pakistan... its not a cold region... this one is best suited for snowfall areas.

Most new cars actually recommend 0W20. These oils yield better fuel economy.

The recommendations are irrespective of temperature. e.g. if you take the example of america then there are states which are hotter than Lahore and some are very cold but the oil grade is usually 0w20. The 0W helps in cold start but wont be harmful for summers either.

its not harmful for summer either because of upper 20 rating... you can watch the videos on youtube about the oil grades... 5w-50 or 5w40 is best suited for pakistani enviroment.... but its always as per the engine type... 5w50 has the widest range available... it can handle max temperature variation and equally good for cold start... In pakistan we always have normally hot start even in winters

Did you consider these parameters?

Bad fuel quality with loads of impurities
Enviornment, dust and pollution?

I won’t recommend 0w for any car unless you’re living in arctic pole.

America might have hot climates, but they don’t have dust/pollution like Pakistan.
