Are 185/60/15 good tyres for vitz?

Hi all I currently have 185/65/15 tyres on my vitz now I want to lower my car and these tires are very big kindly suggest which profile should I go for I am planning on getting 195/55/15 tyres kindly suggest should I go for it or not or suggest any other profile as I will lower my car

You can put 13 inch to 16 inch tyre in vitz

Smallest tire size: 155/80 R13
Largest tire size: 195/50 R16

I have 165/65/R14 in my vitz and power is good with these tyres.

195/55r15 should also be OK. But you should also look into the rim width and rim offset.
Offset should be above +39. Rim with should be 6" or above 6 inches.

first number is the width of tyre, if this number is bigger then your tyre will be wide and better road grip, if with is small then road grip will be less but you will get better acceleration.

second number is the height of tyre wall from bottom to RIM outer side. It only tells tyre is low profile or otherwise.

third number is the rim Size, if rim size if bigger then your car will look cool and if rim size is small then you will get smoother drive.

195/55/15,195/60l15 or 205/55/15 all three have quite wide tyre size which mean you will have better road grip, but slower acceleration. I recommend that you should not go above 195 otherwise you will notice difference in acceleration.

Best one for City drive is 155 or 165 and off road/hilly areas is 185 or 195

That alright, I mean 7" wide rims for 195/55r15. Why don't you go with 195/50 r15. I mean aspect ratio of 50 instead of 55. It shall look good on 15" rims, at the same time maintaining diameter close to stock wheels.

Positive offset of 38 shall be OK.

But, 185 size tyres are not perfect for 7" rims. The maximum you can go for 185 size tyres is with 6.5" rim width.

For 205 size tyres, you cannot go with 205/55. You have to decrease the aspect ratio further down. 205/45 r15 shall do well. But you will have to install it on a rim with high offset otherwise the tyre will touch the fender. Positive offset of anything above 45 shall workout well with 205 size tyres.

There shall be a difference of 11mm being shorter than stock wheels considering as (165/70 r14). You are right. 195/55 r15 would be a better choice giving an elevation of 9mm.

175/65/R15 is very great size for vitz but if you want to go for wider tyre go for 185/60/R15
