wait a minute, there are two type of seat designs
1. bucket type
2. bench type

your civic already has a bucket seat. Old cars used to have bench type seats. now a days you only find long seats in vans... hope this part is clear?

now yr probably looking at some typical after mart stuff they use give the "modified " look to the car, that is your choice to buy if you find existing seats in car uncomfortable

all depends what kind of bucket seats you want...you want functionality or looks. comparatively speaking..they are usually not as comfortable than stock seats cuz they are designed for a specfic purpose.

bucket seats for track cars are different than the ones for street driven cars. it all depends how much money you are willing to spend....the best brands are recaro, mugen etc. but these brands will cost you areound $700.

u can get cheap replicas also but after a while...you will get tired of them.

im assuming you are talking about aftermarket seats only. bucket seats that come stock on cars are a different story. they are as comfortable as they can be...

sat in a friend's LS430 the other day...and had my back and bum massaged by the seats..lol

They are not comfortable at all & back panel is unadjustable...!

They don't carry any seat covers, so, you can't change them...! Different colours mean, different cloth/trim, not the covers...!

ateek is absolutely right.
recaro's only look good . they are in different colours and trims of cloth . the stock seats are the best .
if just for the looks don't go for them you will not find a good comfort level .

ateek..have u driven while sitting in a recaro? they are quiet comfortable...and u cant say from the pic...they come in full recline and adjustability options as well.

dont forget..these are racing seats....while you are racing...comfort and convenience is the last thing on your mind anyway....your adrenaline rush takes care of everything else.
