hey guys I am planning to install HID in my ride...so kindly tell me yar are they legal here? in city as well as on HIGHWAY coz i usually go to Hydrabad so i can't just remove them once installed!!

in KHI no problem, whereas on the highway you might encounter trouble if the motor way police decides to pull you over
yaar i wanna install that one in which low beams are normal halogen and only turn to HID when switched to High beam!!
if u hav HID at both beam... than it might creat problem... but if u hav HID only at HIGH beam then drive at low when u see highway polic... rest in the CITY BOUNDRY its safe!

I have been pulled over in Lhr, at model town intersection, due to my HID's. I have them on my low beam.
It written on the back of the challan as a violation now. Freaking Rs. 500 fine as well. They wont start enforcing it till Feb the guy said.

i had 6000k diamond white in ma car which i bought from London and they r road legal. another thing which i dont know. y do people in pakistan put HID on high beam? apparently all the cars which have got factory fitted HID like honda accord bmw and mercedese have got HID in there low beamz.
I hate HIDs. The TP should be taking strict action against owners of vehicles getting them.
dont hate HIDhate the people who dont know how to use them.anything above 6000k is not road legal. 99% of the HIDz available in pakistan r made for offroading but still people use them on the roads.

@hazyyaar yahan par Chinese bhi wohi hai aur orignal bhi wohi hai yar sab bewakoof banatey hain tum to khair baahir se laaye they na! aur high beam par iss liye lagana hai coz challan nahi karwana apna mujhe

6000k gives the best visibility and will not disturb the other road users.

anything above 8000k is taken as illegal and unethical on road most cars like ferraris and aston martins are fitted with 8000k and cars like Audis renaults and Bmw are fitted with 6000k
