I have to fill 5 nestle bottles (100 ltrs) every 6 days and with the current situation of water filters in islamabad it's getting more and more difficult by the day. We used to have the 3 cartridge water filter in our home 2 3 years ago, the 3rd cartridge had an uv light. We used it a lot till it broke but never tested the water if it actually was clean or not. I'm thinking of getting one of those again since it would makes things much easier for me. So is anyone currently using one of these filters? And have you gotten the water tested?
Buy a RO plant. Its called Reverse Osmosis system. Its 5 stage purification system in which u will get pure drinking water like a Nestle. It will cost u 20000rs for a 100 Gallon per day unit.Names are Fluxtek, Penta Pure

Do they come in smaller capacities? My daily usage is 5 gallons. And how expensive is the maintenance?
Its very cheap. Sms on whatsapp. I have inbox u my cell no.I wil guide u
The biggest disadvantage of RO water is that it does not have any minerals.
What are other good options for water filtration for home use?
Deep Level Bore
QUALITY JDMs @ fb.com/mycar.pk
Even a small set up for filtration will be enough afterwards
Since water is already very pure when u go deep underground
I live in a house where I cant do this and the supply water is very consistent and the underground tank is always full so bore is out of the question
???????
Few years ago this 3 filter device was very common but I have observed them fading out gradually. Most of the times people use clean water from Nestle or other companies. Your question is very valid and I am sure most of us have not checked the purity of the water we drink. It is a good idea to check the water in a friend's house who is using 3 filter device. If found good for health, why not use it. But before using Nestle's water do we really know its clean? The RO idea is good also.
