But those don't have any Hyundai cars at all... I visited them a month ago and they had toyota cars.. Strange a Hyundai showroom having no cars of their brand at all..

yes i think they deal in imported cars of all brands now

The manufacturing of Hyundai car's in Pakistan has been stopped .. I guess

Hyundia and Kia were stopped long ago! Whether it was due to some dispute in the family or money demand from Zordari is still undecided. Like Storm told me, Aqeel Dhedhi's threat and action by bringing thousands of Vitz in the country destroyed the Santro market for sure. Paranoiny is selling his Kia Classic too because he's been told to get the A/C's clutch from the second hand market which means doubt. Later the showroom in I-10 hosted only trucks like Shezore and one more. Yesterday I noticed the place had different name. What do you want to know about the showroom for, I wonder.

thats right the Hyundai showrooms have stopped selling Hyundai cars since 2010.
However they still provide spare-parts, service etc for Hyundai vehicles..
i know of one:
Hyundai Sowan Motors Rawalpindi (on GT road near Bahria Town Rawalpindi)

Unfortunately they do not have parts for Kia Classic that my friend needs. Called them on seeing your post, Riz.

well...vajih check shops on pindi Saddar Kashmir Road and the auxiliary markets...hopefully you'll find KIA spare parts there.

I dont believe it was AKD or anything that stopped Dewan motors, It was themselves, anyone who has met them first hand would know what Im talking about. They had serious management issues.

for Dewan Farooq guys running Hyundai was like you drag an oil tanker with Suzuki Mehran - unmanageable ..!!!

Some say it was their marketing technique, others say the cars lost future because the government never bought those.

Vehicles of Mitsubishi for instance were truly superb but then.....you know what happened. Or Nissan from Gandhara...or Fiat...same goes for Hyundai + Kia. Kia's Spectra and Classic were excellent value for money but see their tragic death!
