Can u please compare the 10th gen civic in comparison to the 3rd gen Prius with regards to drive,comfort,safety and other features
Though I feel it is a mismatch but taking into account the extra 7-8 Lacs that we spent on 1.8 oriel as compared to a good prius

Well in terms of driving pleasure: Civic is better, it has a certain punch to it. Comfort wise Prius is better in terms of seats but the shaking on cateyes, bumps and potholes feel more. Like the vibration feels more in the suspension, probably the extra low clearance amd suspension are culprit for this. With 4 onboard Prius touches breakers. Safety wise Prius has more airbags: 8 in case of my car. The only missing features I can immediately think of are automatic vipers and light. But on the other hand Civic has additional Brake hold, Sunroof, Rear AC vents and E-brake.

Braking and stability wise Civic is superior. At higher speeds Prius kind of gives a feeling that its gotten slippery through the air probably because of a super slippery aerodynamic body focussed towards economy. Acceleration wise Prius is slightly better till first 100.

Overall Prius feels very boring to drive as compared to Civic. Civic makes you feel younger while you drive it.

@arkhitekt I was only an observer of PakWheel's forum since many years. When US studio designed & launched Civic X, I hoped of financing this car on my own with Allah SWT's help if/when launched in Pakistan. After its launch have been following people's feedback on the original thread. Found your reviews & feedback so amazing & depthful that most of my questions were answered. Formally joined this forum yesterday just to thank you for being so detail oriented in guiding the potential buyers. Alhamdulillah by grace of Almighty I was able to finance & book this car earlier in June from Honda Fort in Lunar Silver - Oriel with Nav. Have been given a tentative delivery date of end December (can I push the dealership for an earlier delivery) and impatiently waiting for that day ever since as can't spend extra bucks to expedite the delivery. Plan to get interior stitched by your karigar at Main boulevard DHA and get the car detailed from Ahmad Yar. My only question re: detailing is that once it's done, on shine scale your car goes from 60-100 but after 10-12 months does the car go back to 60 (the original state) or it gets worse than that? Also, is it something you need to scratch your wallet for 12k after every 12 months? And does sealant gets damaged if someone cleans your car with a taaki? What are the washing guidelines for a car preserved with sealant? Is it just water and wax afterwards or water with car shampoo & MF cloth and wax afterwards.
P.S This is my first car purchase by grace of Allah SWT and totally loved your detailed feedback on many things hence bothering you further. Initially, only joined the forum to thank you for the in-depth feedbacks

I guess you will have to be patient for your car because expediting an early delivery isn't possible unless you know someone at Atlas.

The sealant process is not just for shine but also future ease of washing the car. Its totally worth it. It lasts a very good life if take care of. I wouldn't exactly say its to be done every 12 months. If properly taken care of and not damaged, you can do it every 2 years. For that just follow 2 basic things,
1) never dry dust or mop your car, only wash it properly with water and mf. You could use shampoo if its too dirty, but only wash and wax car specific shampoos. If its dirty, let it stay dirty but don't use a shortcut of cleaning it.
2) Every 3 weeks max keep waxing it with a good wax. Because the wax will keep it kind of protected and slippery for anything to stick to it. Specially if rains are expected it needs to be waxed so any marks or spots of water like harmful acid rain effects can avoided.

Need to know if it is a good option to go for tint of windows as i don't like sun shades in civic X. If so can you kindly advice the good ones which are effective and also in which i do not face problem with police. By the way I am from Islamabad.

I went for 10% tints only because I don't want the tints to be noticeable. I too didn't want to put sunshades. They are not exactly noticeable but still there. Check the pictures if you get what level they are by comparing the clear area and tone through the car window

Is it 3m or some random paper.

Its just a random Korean paper. 3M was a very expensive risk to take provided if some day you may be stopped and it all goes wasted. So better to waste Rs.2500 than many times of the same amount at risk

No, once the default maps are there then internet is not needed.
