I did take it as a project, brought it back to its fresh factory looks. And the 8th Gen I have is indeed the very same car.

You brought it back to almost factory condition MashAllah or in some aspects, even better.

I'm talking about aesthetics and performance projects guys normally do on 95-2000 civics.

Well, obviously my personal opinion is absolutely in favor of Civic. Hope you have read post#2 of this thread on the very first page.

In my eyes Civic is in a different class of its own now. In terms of driving experience simply not comparable. But do keep in mind its sensitive than Corolla. It wont take rough use and beating as good as Corolla does.

Driven 1900 till now and the fuel average has started getting better. Also have controlled the urge for undue and constantly flooring it in the name of science.

On the other Civic topic people are claiming 13-14km/l Islamabad city with traffic and one guy even claiming 17km/l highway (cruise) for the Turbo variant. These are close to the international manufacturer claims for the Civic.

Still waiting for my Oriel with delivery expected Jan but the showroom guys told me both Civic's should give same mileage figures. Anything above 10 km/l is good for me but would be real treat if the Oriel starts showing similar figures like the Turbo owners are reporting. Perhaps using High Octane only is giving them better results?

Whats your opinion?

It's about constant average. For example if a trip my meter and drive the next 20 in light traffic without stopping much I can fetch 17. Its about the longer run to get correct average. Even at Ring Road if I trip while at 100 and drive with cruise at same speed it instantly shows 22 for a long time.

I easily used to get 16 - 16.5 from 9th Gen Civic 1.8 at 110 on the full trip of motorway. Even if I get anything 11 plus in local from 1.8 10th gen I will be more than happy.

So Turbo and 1.8 Oriel should roughly be the same in mileage. Now no concern for Oriel being any less on mileage.

Bro which fuel are you using ? My avg is 7.7 in khi . As we don't have ring road n motorway here.

I am using normal fuel till now just 25% hi octane that too on 2 refills only during the last 2200 Kms. Local average I am now getting (only in the name of science, as usually I am not that patient) is 13 which dropped to 12.6 as I couldn't resist in the morning and had a throttle floored drive.

thanks usman bro for details opinion and i agreed with your both points, HOBC is not available in regular basis and 2nd thing about quality so you can guess perfect mixture also Supreme quality also not good, so i think so in future this ll be impact of 1.5 turbo resell and successfull model in Market.

Sorry Fahad, i disagree, the future is for new Turbo engine,there is no problem of HOBC in isloo and fuel octane is going to be enhanced end of this month. Oriel has old engine with little tweeks here and there. Our mindset needs to be changed. Look at new CRV it has also option of 1.5 Turbo. Lets accept change.
