@xulfiqar today I bought a set of stanley screw drivers and plier.....I am also interested in getting a Goti set...I was offered one for Rs3800 which was made by gate, stanley was bit expensive....Also saw torque wrenches they were of Norbar brand...My question is that for DIY what is the minimum and max N-M torque you need?

Thanks for the reply friend! BTW i wired up the headlights on factory settings and working fine MA. Also adjusted the reflectors. Removed extra relays. Soldered wires on H1 bulb's body for ground and for positive used horn clips. The original grips for H1 bulbs are rare and expensive. The switch is still there in bottom tank. What do you think will the switch work because it's sitting dead there for years maybe. When i got the top tank installed there was a little hole and a little dried up coolant around. Got that fixed but still there are 3 tiny pin hole leaks and a little dried up coolant can be seen around it. Very very tiny 3 holes. Only dried up coolant is around it on the top tank's border. Damn these desi radiator walas don't know how to work properly. One more thing brake lamp red strip lights up when i start the car and when i press the brake pedal. All brake lights are working perfectly fine but i remember one holder of brake lamp had issues with ground so the electrician grounded one bulb directly to the chassis in the truck because he said new holder is needed so for the time being i am grounding this bulb directly. Could this be an issue for the brake lamp red strip to light up when i press the brake pedal after i start the car and it remains on.

test the thermoswitch, its pretty easy - connect it to the wiring properly and start the car, it should kick on the fans at approximately 50% of the gauge movement. - These old Honda thermoswitches are very robust I have never seen one not function. Word of advice, never ever rub them with sandpaper or anything else, leave them alone.

It should be your first priority to repair the top tank to remove any pin hole leaks in it - otherwise you will cook the engine.

The rear lamps have little amp sensors in them which actually trigger the brake lamp warning in the dashboard panel, if you bypassed any wire in that little sensor your warning lamp will glow. It actually relies on ground going through itself to measure the amps (hence - only use proper genuine koito/stanley/hella/bosch bulbs in there which should be rated at 8/21W - that is written on the cover plate itself - also put a spare in the cover - its got a holder for it. - do not use made in china kachra maal)

However since few days was hearing screeching noise thought it was serpentine belt but lately today water pump started to leak when car was hot. It leaked from the shaft. Now what do you suggest buy new / qabli or get its bearing changed as i think its bearing is gonner

2. I dont know what is actual milage of my car because its normal to reset the odo. At moment it has some 99k. Do you think i should change the automatic transmission filter and fuel filters? and are they available or i have to go for qabli

if the water pump is shot - replace with brand new part only.

The auto transmission filter in your car cannot be replaced, you cant help that - change fuel filter though - but only use a new genuine part. Not used.

the EPS code 23 is attributed to engine speed signal. Reset the code and retest to see if it logs any code again.

Engine 41 is o2 sensor heater signal circuit fault, - I think your o2 sensor is about to have its soyem.

I am facing low acceleration and increased fuel consumption. A couple of mechanics are relating this to irridium plugs but I am not convinced. Searching for an expert opinion.

Valve clearance and throttle service done two months ago at the time of plug change. Irridium plugs were installed new with standard gap. Plugs are IK-20.

There is no sort of bearing noise

Nothing wrong. They have completed their life. Replacement was made with irridium ones

for tools - look at them as investments and not shortcuts, over their life they will save you thousands of rupees in repair costs - also look at them for safety - e.g. if you are trying to undo a nut/bolt with over 200 lb/ft torque you need something that wont explode because the made in china foreman thought that using junk in the material mold guaranteed him a promotion from his boss.

Honda Says 10k for pump but best quality in market is for 5k no big deal though. Stealership also gets parts from market have seen one. anyway as i would be replacing valve cover gasket as its leaky i also want to adjust valve clearances. Honda Manual says Inspect and adjust at 110k but as its common practice dont know how many km its been used and if its odo is tempered or not.

Is following procedure correct ?
Removing the Water Pump

1.Remove Serpentine Belt
2. Remove Tension-er Assembly
3. Remove Coolant in a pan from raidaitor drain plug
4. Loosen top three fasteners of water pump from up
5. Jack the car remove the driving side tyre and then from bottom rotate the shaft to remove remaining three fasteners
6. Install new pump in reverse order of removal

Valve Adjustment
Is following valve adjustment correct?
Intake 0.23 mm
Exhaust 0.27 mm

My old car had very good indication on cam about the alignment. but on this internet says different tricks about some punch mark arrows etc. Will dipstick method work for getting pistons to TDC ? if you can share any manual pic it would be help

Thanks friend! BTW the grip which goes in fan's switch is missing i guess. Not sure. What if it's missing? Which kinda grip would i have to buy? Plus the relay port which runs both the fan has melted a little due to overheating because earlier fans were direct. So ATM the fans are powered by a relay which gets current from a fuse in the fuse box and main current is supplied directly from positive terminal on battery. One more thing. My temp gauge works but it won't work properly. When i start the car it does start to rise but it will stay a little above cold. And if the car starts to overheat it will stay a little below half. Once the car was overheating because the relay port had melted and fans were not working. The coolant was real hot and was coming out from reservoir. So for sure when it overheats the needle stays below half. Is temp sensor having issues? It's the wire which goes at the back side of intake manifold.

Reply my second last post please. And friend i check the rear brake lamps and connections. All connections seem perfectly fine no such jugar is performed and all brake lights are working since day one still that brake lamp warning won't go off.

sounds like your system is airlocked, remove air from the the bleed bolt. Low coolant level will cause the needle not to work as it works best when its touching liquid.

Make sure the metal coolant intake pipe which the lower radiator pipe connects to is not rusty, if its rusty coolant will not flow into the intake manifold and the gauge wont show correct temperature.

The plug for the radiator fan thermoswitch is a regular honda 2 pin round plug, but on this old Honda it used to be yellow in colour rather than brown. Its very easy to find though.

For the wiring from the actual fan relay socket, correct that melted socket, or disassemble the fuse box and route the fan wires outside. It also sounds like your electrician is a dumbass if he branched off some "fused" power to energize the coil of the extra relay he put but is perfectly OK with "unfused" load side of the relay.

if the bulbs are OK and no wiring pins are broken in the amp sensors then replace the sensors, they are screwed onto the tail lamp assemblies.

Coolant level is not low at all. It's full. Car is not reducing coolant mashaAllah. The 3 pin hole leaks on radiator's top tank edge are hardly leaks. It's seepage. Had went on a long drive on sat night. Then checked the level of coolant in the morning at it was full. The metal coolant pipe is not rusty at all. Surprisingly it's still golden as good as new. The temp gauge always works but works in the same way. it's on letter C when car is dead cold and starts rising and when it's at operating temperature it will stay around the 2 lines which are white above the letter C. And once when the car was damn hot due to fan relay issue the needle was below half. So it's working. It's telling me if things are normal but i want it to work perfectly. Got it. Will visit back side of plaza for the switch.

I can do one thing. Take off that one positive wire which goes from the outer relay to the fuse box in a fuse. That wire triggers the fans when the ignition is turned on and connect it to the grip i will buy later. And the other wire from the grip i guess i can ground it nearby. There are two wires right. Direct current to the relay will be still there and will be getting continuous current from battery's terminal so i guess no need to touch it. And then will hook up smaller fan's + wire with main fan's + wire. Will this work? Currently smaller fan is triggered when A/C is turned on and it's + wire is hooked up with a relay in the engine bay. I guess it's for the compressor. The original print which is inside the A/C panel was damaged due to stupid so-called A/C technician because he wired the aftermarket relay under the dash without knowing which wire goes where. I don't know the print which was damaged was meant for which button in the A/C panel. When i bought the car A/C button was turning on the small green light but was not triggering the compressor. So other guy there took the A/C panel out. Soldered two wires on the prints inside A/C panel and hooked them up with a aftermarket relay under the dash. He told me there should be a original unit which triggers the compressor and it's missing. All the push buttons working fine though. Now the A/C button also works fine.

Will do that in the end. Not bothering much ATM. And those 2 rectangular shaped sensors behind both the lamps you talking about? Damn those must be hard to find. But also found that spare bulb holder area it's with the cover. Why is Accord so complicated damn it's not a new car still it's so complicated LOL!
