i saw a brochure about toyota injector cleaner which showed really good cleaning of intake valves and combustion chamber. i know carburetors have separate cleaners, but most people on the internet say they are the same thing in different bottles.

is it safe?

leave it alone. The bushing seems to be in good health, try to wiggle it with a strong lever and see if it flops around.

I did wiggle it with a pribar it didn't wiggle. Its all good then.

Umm - one more question what are those empty plastic boxex attached to air intake pipe for in santro? Plus there is an other plastic box that sits on throttle intake pipe near throttle body what are these empty plastic boxes are for??

Umm - just a heads up my santro's engine use to knock when ever i push hard accelerator. Then i had to go out of town some 7 800 kms had driven the car at 140 150 on long routes when i came back i noticed the car was more than lighter then ever and those knocks went away just like that

Bro my cousin uses a 2.5kW generator when it run on NG it kind of knocks. The knock intensity varies as we adjust the the gas pressure from the screw on the gas-kit. Why is that knock? Sometimes it Knocks pretty loud although it runs good and everything seems fine. Why it knocks and is it safe to keep it running with knocking all the way?

Same here i too have only one or two long trips in a year and sometime not even that. I rent in the ride for out of station trips.
Anyhow, i read on a physics forum that water can be used to de carbonised the engine. But i won't recomend that as I myself have never tried that out and according to some internet sources (a physics forum) a fair class of technicians/mechanics consider it as just a myth.
I hope @xulfiqar can provide his expert opinion on that.

I understand you are the pro here, I own a lancer JDM 4G15 2006 CVT. Car was for a brief period on CNG not anymore. Whenever the car is not warm enough the idling is just fine. The moment it gets warm, in Drive mode it is fine but if I put it in Nuetral or Park at any point the RPM's dip enough to cause vibration and then within 1-2 seconds return back to acceptable levels but still when it returns to normal it feels weak. Now I have heard it could be the IAC, but in the case of IAC I have heard people have their cars stall on them, I don't face that issue. So I have a hunch, could it be possible CNG mechanics change idle screw settings? I have no experience with CNG and when this car was on CNG it was with someone else. I still don't get how the car returns back to normal idle, I give it throttle in nuetral and it will go up come down wait for 1-2 seconds before dipping after which 1-2 secs later it returns. Don't have RPM meter so can't make out anything but once it comes back it is fixed till I expose it to throttle again in P or N.
This problem is not present while ac is running, no dips occur in N or P with ac on.

Would really appreciate your help, this is not hampering car performance for me but is really interesting and has kept me up wondering at nights.

xulfiqar bhai can u please help me where should i take my car for overhauling the engine of cultus. And tell me any mechanic who can perform compression test , engine vaccum check and oil pressure check!

@xulfiqar car is city 99 efi and it do not compensate for idle when electric and ac load is applied. rpm goes down on load.. rpm dont rise when ac is on . on scanner computer also showed ac is on means ecu has signal of ac on ....i changed and cleaned the throttle body but didnt resolve the issue. i did not see any eld in fuse box too... kindly tell me what to do

Sir do you think we can use petroleum jelly on copper wire joints to avoid copper oxidisation (the black carbon build up we get on naked copper joints)?

if its efi, then use such a cleaner. occasionally drive for a few minutes at 5k rpm.

in my case, i had a bad pcv, missing t stat and bad carburetor that made things bad

seafoam is the real stuff, but not available here

A friend suggested smuggled Nankang tires xr611 (155/70/R12) fr 15k

can u suggest whether i should go fr it or search fr a reliable yokohama, Bridgestone b70 or dunlop sp sports 490? as sme people say market is flooded with fake ones

Advice requested @ Xulfiqar...! Last month i came across problem with my city idsi 2007,,79k on odo .
i was going inside Punjab university Campus Lhr, AC was off, suddenly red H check light started blinking, fan came on and car started giving sign of heat up.i did not stop,took short cut through PU and came on Maulana Shaukat Ali Road towards Kamran market Allama Iqbal town to search some Mechanic till engine stared giving sizzling sound and steam started coming out of bonnet right in front of Kamran market. I stopped opened the bonnet and found engine oil very low and water in radiator was completely finished. (I was using ANTI FREEZE previously ) poured almost 2 lit hovoline 20 w 50 and and almost three bottles of 1.5 lit water in radiators. The check light came off and I travelled to my home about 6 km from kamran market.
The other day in the morning, poured half bottle of water in radiator to maintain the lvl and went to Honda City sales Kalma Chowk.... till there car did not show any sign of problem however water lvl was low when mech opened the radiator cap.
Mech checked the car and told me that it was due to leak pipe and choke thermostat valve.
Maint work was done:-
Thermostat valve cost 2480
2 heater pipe(rubber pipe) cost 1030
labour 500
Total 4010
After that I travelled from lhr to Rwp last week and car so far did not give any problem.
Water lvl in radiator is ok however engine oil lvl went slight low.

My query is why low oil engine check light did not came on...?
Approaching hot summer shall I go for radiator wash and than go for anti freeze or will it work with out it...?
Any effect on Head or gaskit...?
Any other maint required to avoid such problem in hot summer...?
I checked Honda 3s rwp for radiator wash and antifreeze they quoted
radiator wash charges 2900
labour 1740
anti freeze 4 btl 3560
Total is 8200
isn't it too much......?Some reliable wkshop for this work at economical rate in rwp or isd.

Ermm - just a quick tip whenever your ride show any ANY sign of overheat immediately IMMEDIATLY switch the engine off and park it road side safely and then proceed to next step i-e tow to nearest mech. Shop or open the bonnet, call the mechanic whatsoever. You can avoid yourself big fat paying cheques to mechanics.
