4wd in a tiny vehicle also means its geared really low to cope with the added load of the drivetrain. No workaround. Live with it. Disconnecting the D shaft is dependant on the centre diff design.

I know what's involved when performing a Compression test on a Petrol engine, what's the procedure for a Diesel engine? Is it more fun due to the absence of Spark plugs or more dirty :P?

what is the business end of the cable? the sheathing can be pretty all it wants

zulfiqar bhai what if i disconnect the center shaft from the gear box and sealed that port for no leakage or change the entire gear box

if your centre differential has a positive cutoff for the rear differential then you can do this, it would be best to get a FWD gearbox and remove the entire 4x4 diffy and subframe too if you dont want to use it.

same procedure, remove the injectors, injector pipes, disable the injection pump and install your tester, make sure other injectors are out to ease the load on the starter, test the compression.

Some adapters are available to test the compression from the glow plug ports.

A wet test is never done as the engine will try to start on the oil you put in there - oil will burn as fuel. The compression measured in a 23:1 compression engine is about 500 psi.
