i wasn't there when the car was worked on but syncview supervised the job so i know it is done right, the tuning guys were doing it wrong, it was done after quite a bit of argument but it was finally done correct.
the car sounds much more silent, the timing was previously 14 degree and now it is 6 degree. there seems to be more torque in the lower rpms (i mean when putting the car in first gear i need to give less throttle), but i feel that it accelerates slower now (mid range rpm) . (though i partly think it is supposed to be like that when the timing is retarded). but the slow acceleration also makes me want to check the distributor
these guys weren't really co operative so we couldn't check whether the timing advance was working correct. The distributor got cracked once during timing adjustment (it was jammed in place and hammering it didn't turn out to be a wise move). now it is held together with depoxi. so i will replace it next month, for now work is stopped because of my exams.
the carburetor vacuum pods on the passenger side have some friction and aren't moving as freely as they are supposed to, that will also be taken care of in the next session
