Dry cell battery volta, hankook, daewoo etc ki mne dakhi hyn bus.. Or shopkeepers kehty hn k dry cell batry agr chaly to 2 sal agr khrab ho jye to farigh...another option is Ags low maintenance batry,,

My problm is k gari 3 4 din bad ya hafty tak agr start kro to kon c batry sahi rahy gi?? Mech khty hn k sardio me roz ya 2din bad gari ko start na kro to batry khrab hti hy,,, to mjy kon c batry leni chye
1) Dry Cell (which comp)
2). Low maintenance AGS
3) Ordinary batry (which comp)

bhai just messed my self into a problem.... tried cleaning the electronic throttle of my ALTIS 1.6 with wd40 but after that the idle has gone mad, its not coming below 1300 and when i drive n press the clutch the idle moves from 1300 to 2700 ... comes back to 1300 then again to 2700 or above... continously moves up n down... what should i do now ?? plz help...

WD40?? Get yourself a carb cleaner and clean again. Check for vacuum leaks.

problem solved !
regarding WD40... last time when i went to Toyota 3S they cleaned the throttle with WD40,so i followed it !
btw gave the car 2,3 ignitions with bare throttle.... n disconnected the battery terminals 3 times... now its working perfectly !

It's a sparingly used car, get a dry cell. Start it every 4th day, it won't have any issues

I encountered a rather weird problem with my Lancer.

Three days ago in the morning it refused to start, the ignition sound was in a way "weaker" than normal, as if it was struggling to start.

The car is a daily driver, driven around 91,000 km till now, we have it since it was brand new and is driven thoroughly on petrol.

Yesterday when Mitsubishi 3S opened I called a taxi driver to toe-chain the car to the centre which is 5 minutes away from our home. He said let's jumpstart the car first. We did that with his Mehran's battery and jumper cables which I already have, our car has AC-Delco dry battery since 2 years.

After some tries the car started! The taxi driver's verdict was that your car's battery is weak but when we got it checked it was in the "Good" zone on the meter.

Now the car is behaving like normal but the question is still bugging me that what went wrong? The car is a well-maintained vehicle with every work done on time and no expense spared, no Jugaarh ever done on the car.

@aliusman420 bhai same strange thing also happens to my sx8.It was left for 7-8 days. But my car starts by fully depressing the gas peddle .It also behaving normally now.I am also curious about what went wrong.

The thing is that this car is dailly driven to office as well as markets and all and never gets parked for longer than a night.

When I release the accelerator to slow down the car without engaging clutch i.e. braking power of engine, its check engine light comes ON and after some pressing of accelerator it goes off, though sometime it does stay on for longer time too. I thought that it's MAP sensor could be culprit as CEL comes on when vacuum I intake manifold increases. When I extracted the code using Wire Jumping method in Diag1 connector it gave codes 32 and 24. 32 is of MAP sensor as I thought were as 24 is of VSS error(though in this model of Baleno VSS is not connected through ECU. I swapped its MAP sensor as I have two Balenos of same model but issue remained and the other car remained normal. It also needs to be mentioned that even with CEL on car behaves perfectly Normal(fuel efficiency, pick etc.) What could be the issue.

Map sensor error could pop up with leak in intake manifold check for leaks

Apparently there seems no leaks....rpm remain stable....
I am doubting on brake servo....how to know if there are no leaks in servo....PCV valve seems fine...

I don't think engine breaking have something to do with break servo if something is wrong with servo I think you would see bubble in break fulid break pedal settling or something like that

I don't think so....Brake's servo and hydraulic lines are two seperate systems with only mechanical linkage between them

Check connectivity and resistance of MAP sensor ECU signal wire(MAP to ECU); should be 0. Check voltage coming to the MAP sensor (Ignition ON);should be 5v. Check resistance of negative/ground wire; should be 0.

My Prius 1.5(around 105000 kms done) feels heavy and the engine noise is also increased.Pick is fine.should i take it for tuning?.Oil used was shell 5w30 about 3500 kms back.Please also recommend a good place for this work in Karachi.
