To remove rust from any metal surface you need an acid.. a mild organic acid like citric acid works great.

to test the cutting oil theory - get a cup of cutting oil, mix it with water as recommended and then find a rusted out item, apply that oil on it and see if it removes the rust.

Someone suggest me to put cutting oil in radiator so if there is any rust in engine.. It will remove.. Is it true? Using cutting oil in radiator is right?

i am trying to figure out the jerk issue on my w202.the rear bushings were all ok i my self checked them along with the mechanic.now one mechanic is saying to change the drive shaft couplings??should i go for it?

no it wont - but to be honest this is a very old technique done on side plug 2 valve engines - are you doing this on some motorcycle?

check the couplings yourself first - you will need a very bright light.

no - that is after you clean the rust with acid first. Coolant prevents rust - it does not remove it.

1.sparkplugs need replacement
2.faulty coils
3.Harmonic balancer needs to be changed
4.Engine mounts needs to be replaced

My m112 engine has vibrations coming after i started the car after 10 days they went away after the temp got to 60 deg.
I have changed the plugs 30k km back (bosch).Changed the engine mount as well, my mechanic says coils are ok.
Dont know whats the issue.....Pappu ustaad says its the fuel....met an old timer and he told me to get fuel system treatment cleaner most of the people are blaming the fuel......i had the fuel filter changed and was using HOBC but these days i am on regular fuel so maybe they are right what is your opinion

M112 engine will immediately shut down a misfiring cylinder if 4 subsequent misfires are detected and the code will be recorded for that cylinder. A shutoff and restart will startup that dead cylinder uptil the time it misfires again.

spark plugs are quite long life on this engine - they are 2 per cylinder, firing one at a time on cruising. But make sure not to put some weirdo plugs in there.

my guess its a misfire........last time i checked it showed cylinder 5 misfired........i really cant make it out actually ,its like that heart beat monitor one blimp after 4-5 sec...hope ur getting my point

Check For Acid Flush Technique As Posted Before On PW's To Clean Your Rusty Deposited Engine ..Beware It Have Chances To Develop Leak If You Have Weak Place......After That Use 50/50 Coolant Water Mix And You Are Good....!

@xulfiqar bhai my car (03, cow 2C) had its clutch working very very low near to it's floor, like i had to pull mat so that nothing is in between clutch and floor and press it full damn hard to engage gear, I asked mechanic to lift it a bit and after adjusting it slightly up now it's clutch plates r acting as weak... Problem occurred exactly after the clutch adjustment. What could be the reason ?
