sounds like your transmission pump is not working, in your gearbox's torque converter the dog ears that drive the transmission oil pump can fracture which completely stop the transmission from working.

Sir i guess then i have to change the transmission, it cant be repaired here but it does have a drawback of very short gear ratio with only 3 speed, means that on the speed of 40 im on the final gear.
initially i thought that it might get fixed if i replace its ATF, but now im thinking for a complete swap with 660cc alto engine with auto transmission, as the expense is a bit higher than only to make it manual but counter off with fuel economy as i will be using it only on petrol. what would you suggest?

@xulfiqar, what to be used on a new car which was parked for a longtime and now tiny spots of rusts are showing up behind the front wheel on tie rod metal and other metal stuff near or on the suspension. .very tiny but need to remove them safely and prevent for future rust. Advice will be highly appreciated

If gear oil is leaking than first check if transmission is overfilled and then inspect breath pipe of transmission

they limit engine movement - not torque production.

Just had the ATF for my Se Saloon 2003 changed.

Its been running funny at times since then with what seems like clutch slipping. The Engine revs but the power does not get transffered to the transmission

Original Toyota IV ATF was used and I think the mechanic has over-filled my pouring in 4 full liters.

I wanted to ask if its safe to have some of the ATF sucked out via the dip stick area by going to the petrol station and asking the oil change guy to use his suction machine pipe on it?

dont use the engine oil suction machine - engine oil traces can damage a transmission. Firstly check how much does it register on the dipstick. And if you are concerned about removing some then drain some from the cooler line circuits - it pumps out transmission fluid when the engine is running.

what kind of cams?? - can you be more specific

for filters - I personally like purolator and wix - really good quality stuff
