Bhai Jaan, His car's engine is making a lot of pressure with A/C on. Mobil oil bhi atleast quarter ltr kam kar deti hai within 3,000 KMs. It also gets over heat as well. (Honda Civic 2003 VTi prosmatec) We all are almost certain that engine is weak. What should be the best solution, he is of opinion that he should change the whole head assembly including gear (prosmatec it is), ignition etc etc. Or he should only get the rings work done? What do you say? I am of opinion that we should first check the A/c if it is giving load on the engine, then it would damage the new engine as well. Please guide

OK, according to your opinion we should first change head gasket, service complete cooling system radiator, water body etc. thermostat valve (wall) bhi nikalwaya hua hai bhai ne. Woh dobara install ho sakta hai??

@xulfiqar, i have a 04/05 deewan lancer 1.6. Auto and car jerks while accelarating at times. Seems to me as the cat converter is choked just not sure if this modep came with one. Any idea's?

pl advice mixing ratio of 2stroke oil in diesel per fill-up, mine is 70 + litters full tank, andhow about below ABRO 2 stroke oil to do the job?

I need your help in following issue
A city vario 2003 that is under my use for past several months is showing issues with the brakes. First there was a clunky noise in brake pedals that came even when car was idle/turned off. This noise was coming at certain position of pedal while pressing releasing it. I got it checked and one mechanic said that brake booster is faulty and should be changed. Another one said it is nothing to worry about. So far there wasn't any actual trouble in stopping the car at any speed.
Now last week my wife had hard time slowing down on a speed breaker and in panic she put the shift lever into parking to stop it. The car refused to start after that.. Battery wasn't giving any support to the self. As the battery was quiet old I got it replaced and the car started easily with the new battery. I don't have a clue if that braking incident had something to do with battery dying at 60km/h.
This car is usually driven by my driver and occasionally by me or my wife. After this incident I drove the car a bit and felt that brakes slip a bit especially at low speeds with AC on, like when parking or getting out from parking lot. Showed the car to mechanic again who serviced the brakes. Initially it felt ok but today I again felt brake pedal getting stiff and brake slipping at low speed with AC on. I need your help for a proper diagnostic.

It sounds like you engine RPMs go low for some reason - and because of that you have low assist from the brake booster.
I am assuming that the brake pedal gets very hard to press under those conditions?

IIRC, the Lancer offered here did not have a cat convertor

Hope you are doing good. I need your guidance to solve an issue occurred in my Daihatsu Move custom. The issue is that it reduces oil. No blue smoke from exhaust, no rough idling. I got the compression test done and it came out to be 148, 140 and 138. I got it checked by my mechanic and he told me that your turbo is weak and it is throwing out the oil. Secondly whenever i pour oil it gets too dirty very quickly. Exhaust pipe is black too. First i was thinking that im pouring more engine oil then required. Poured 3 litres for the first time but then poured 2.25 as website says that it should be 2.3. Toyota people said that ur car is 110% fine. Just use toyota oil. Pls help

Any problems with the coolant levels?
Have you inspected coolant for oil presence

A turbo seal failure can cause high oil consumption, can literally show up as oil in exhaust pipe or blue smoke.

That is not possible, you need a gm tech 2 tool

Its the engine idling control system that needs rectification or maybe a vacuum leak somewhere

So what be a good plan for tracking down and rectifying the issue. This is my brother in law's car that is temporarily under my use and care. I don't have any experience in maintaining it so any pointers will be appreciated. Can you recommend a good technician in Karachi? Do you think rattling sound in the brake pedal is unrelated? This sound comes even when the engine is off and the car is standing still.

I cannot say what is causing that sound

You need to visit a good mechanic, since you're in khi, @capsat can help you out.
