@xulfiqar bro need a piece of advice, in Karachi most of the washing stations use "khara pani"( from borin) to wash cars which result in rust issues specially in the wheel arches under carriage and lower part of doors so i prefer to wash my car at home, form last two months we are having shortage of line water so its not kinda possible to wash my car from the line water aka "meetha pani", luckily the boring in my home has ground water that is not salty at least in taste compared to what u usually get in most of Karachi. I usually wash my car once a week but as a preventive measure was thinking to spray some rubberized anti rust coating to my car. What u suggest me to do? Looking for a brief reply.

I am standing in a small town, involved in a little accident (only sheesha of side mirror of driver side is broken) I have purchased a sheesha (just sheesha that also without its cover because of non-availability of City's proper side mirror's sheesha in this local town). Now after when I have locked the car with the remote and after a minute the car starts screaming. I have checked all the doors and the doors are locked, a local electrician is working but I don't think he'll able to. Please urgent help required, standing on road

Just remove the black box module for the after market alarm under the dashboard
Unplug all connectors from it thats it

Youll have to manually lock using the key in the door lock

Yes it will be start in 90% cases as alarm is disabled
If it doesnt then you are just removing connectors from the box not disabling the alarm so you can always plug them back if something goes wrong and it will be as before dont put the module back for time being in dashboard

I have already done this before once on a steelmate alarm when the remote battery died and car would not stop screaming
After unplugging connectord i was able to use the csr as normal before i got it fixed

Problem solved, Thankyou very much. There was a little screw lose in the kit, he has replaced it. Now lets see what happens, I hope the problem is THE END or should not reoccur till I reach back home in Faisalabad

i am facing problem in my city idsi 2006. engine starts blowing. i have take quotation from okara my home town 1 mechanic said total cost for replacing head assembly is 30k (including labour engine oil filter etc). 2nd demanded 20k for whole this and both said warranty is 7 days for engine blowing or engine oil reduction.
Please suggest me any good mechanic from lahore or sahiwal who is authentic so that i can replace my car head assembly as i have no previous experience of this practice.

Sir my father has 2012 1.6 auto altis (1zr-fe) driven 110k now a week earlier the driver had changed the transmission oil & poured some unknown ATF fluid due to which the gears shifting is now a bit odd.
The car pick is normal but when u try to upshift to any other gear the car rpm increases i.e when u try to shift from 1st gear to 2nd at 3k rpm the rpm go to 3.3k and then changes the gear with a big JERK . It does the same in changing to all gears.
Also when in overtaking by pressing hard the paddle the rpm increases but speed doesn't like its skipping and by full acceleration in D mode the rpm is stuck on 6.5k for almost 3-4 sec.
These problems were not there before the oil change. Now the oil has been changed to Toyota ATF WS but nothing happened.
Today my father went to peshawar to check the car and he wants to change the transmission.
So please kind help what should we do?
Can the problem be sloved?

@xulifqar sir could you advise on faw v2 that what kind of replacement oil filter can be fitted instead of genuine faw filter. I have heard we can use Honda city or Santro oil filter but I have not tried.

first thing you should do is a full flush of the transmission, only then you'll restore performance, just a drain/refill won't work.

given that the unknown oil didn't do permanent damage and the trans is only acting up because of the fluid mismatch.

Sir please swap the engine. Do not build it. The same case happened with my friend. After all the discussion with various mechanic we came to conclusion that swap is a better option. He did it and he is happy. Overhauling require expertise and above all it will cost you same as the swap will cost you.

I agree. I had an experience of engine build of my alto car @ pkr 30000 but in vain.....swaped engine and happy now
