I have no idea of Islamabad, but to reply your case of "single hand driven car" - Japanese kei cars are used like Donkey carts in Japan (very badly). and it being an old car you never know whats wrong with it when you buy it.

Go to eastern AC in saddar Ikram Sb is the master and authentic person in ac works though he charges more than the market

I have just purchased my first car i.e. Chevrolet Joy 2007 last week. I am from Lahore city. So far, I am quite happy with buying and getting my first car, however; I have faced some problems issues in car.

Before describing the problems let me just confirmed that I have changed its engine oil i.e. Zic (Blue bottle 3 liters 20w50) as per oil changing mechanic this is best for this car in current atmosphere. I have also changed its air and oil filter.

I visited Chevrolet Platinum Motors from where I got my car?s tuning done, the response from Chevrolet platinum motors guys wasn?t satisfactory. Now let me come to the issues and I want suggestions guidelines that how can I fix them.

1. The first and foremost issue is with fuel consumption of my car as it is giving me approx. 10 KM per liter with 70% AC on in city, which is quite low as I have heard people are attaining 14 to 15KM in these scenarios. In order to fix this issue I have searched forum and found that fuel injector cleaning does work to resolve the issue and I have asked mechanic at Chevrolet Platinum motors to do so but he said we don?t clean than and we cannot clean that in simple words he refused me to do so.

Here I need suggestion that what is the place or best mechanic who can get its fuel consumption fixed.

2. Second issue is its shocks which are too loose as I have felt a lot of jumping while driving in bad road conditions, plus everything in car is shaking along with various noises from doors etc. I have discussed this too from the mechanic at Chevrolet platinum motors and he suggested that the repaire will cost aroung 20000 that is too much. The repaire will include shocks hardening as they are lose, etc. etc.

There is GOLA (called by mechanics) is pasted on doors (the black plastic pieces) the paint of that thing is gone and I want to get them repainted. How can I remove the same to spray paint by DIY.

Guys please suggest me good mechanic who can handle the car and fixed the issues honestly, I would really appreciate if someone owning Chevrolet Joy can suggest good mechanic.

Dear All,
i am owning mitsubishi minica from dec 2015 to onward , priviously i am getting geed milage and have no issue at all , but after some time i am facing heat up issue , by heat up means heat meter niddle is little up from the recommedation , i have also attached ODB 2 , after reading temp of coolent is go to max 92 , and is between 85 to 92 , as per my macanic thermostate works on 88 and run the fan, please suggest any good place to resolve this issue thanks .

i want to ask you a question as i have a baleno 2004 model in good condition running on petrol.
the problem im facing is car becomes very heavy when ac is on for some time.engine is not responding quickly when accelerating.with out ac car is spot on.is this problem same in every baleno or is it only mine? and what is solution.

Need your help, I have corolla 2010 model it is developing a problem, that AC works for first 15 minutes and than trips than comes back for a minute or two than trips, also I have observed that when I accelerate the speed above 45 the AC trips and on speed of 45 or below it remains cooled for some longer time. I went to Toyota airport lahore they said whole AC will be replaced with cost around 70k to 80k. The AC cools well when running . please identify the possible problem and suggest a good solution with good mechanic in lahore. I will be grateful for the help.

Assalamo a laikum . Zulfiqar bhai i meed some advice.... i have honda city 06 i-dsi ... and on idle... the car is jittering a bit.. the rpm remaina a table at 700 but sitting in the car i can feel the little puffs and piffs... the air filter is new and clean.. the car is running on petrol and the plugs are in good condition as well..... whats wrong with it.. i dint want to get the throttle body cleaned as i dnt think thatll be the issue as the car is driven very less... litrally 50 100 km a week only... plus the fuel average is not that pleasing. Its around 12 a litre without ac whereas similae models go upto 18 a litre without ac. Kindly advise

I've Suzuki Margalla (Swift Sedan) 1990 Model Japan assembled. my car runs perfectly fine. give me the average of 15KM/Ltr on long and 11KM/Ltr within city.

One week back I was coming back from Lahore through Motorway and near Sukheki my car started missing. Saw in the rear mirror and it was black smoke coming from my car. Stopped by the near parking area and checked. My car's air filter and it's hosting was filled with oil. Don't know what happened wrong. This happened 3 times that day. Whenever I went to 100KM/HR speed this happened. On 80KM/HR my car was running fine.

Please help me about it. Guide me about what has happened wrong with my car.

PS. Car didn't heated up. Water was full in radiator and bottle. Oil was changed almost 400KMS before this happened.

One major reason for high fuel consumption is the engine oil you are using. It's way too thick for your car. Shift to 5w30 or 10w30 or 5w40 viscosity grade oil.

I have Toyota GLI 2012 with odometer 70,000 original odometer till now. My car is company maintained from day 1 till now. From day 1 till now then petron engine oil 20w50 is used in my car. Now i am thinking of changing the engine oil to thinner oil like toyota engine oils 10w30 or 5w30 or zic 5w20.

What do you suggest now to me can I change the engine oil to thinner oil like toyota engine oils 10w30 or 5w30 or 5w20 or keep using Toyota petron 20w50 genuine engine oil ???? Is this beneficial for changing the engine oil to thinner oil for engine ????? What do you suggest now ?????
