Oils should be API SN or ILSAC GF-5 approved. Full synthetic are the best. Synthetic blend can also be used.

Need your opinion.I have a Baleno 2003 with genuine loads single channel radiator.Most of the channels are blocked and that's why car tends to overheat a bit on the highway.Should I replace the radiator with aluminum one or get this one serviced??
P.S there is no leak in the current one

you can always try repairing, but, in most cases you'll end up with a leaking tank. I'd suggest replace with a brand new one if this one cannot be flushed clean

Go for genuine one. The coolant with different colors act as corrosion inhibitor and all colors are not suitable for all metal types for radiators and cylinder blocks. Hence, use genuine (same metal as oem) and use same color coolant to avoid any non compatible relation ( between metal and coolant).

I have one question. As a general user i wash the car with wax shampoo and use simple wax (cosmic).

But after months/years car got minor scratches on paint which can only be seen when light reflects from one side or in sunlight.

Kindly guide how such scratches can be removed, which product (or step wise products) to be used (pl note i dont have any machine polisher) at home with applicator.

Yes i have seen both
Apparently the problem seems to be solved after I flushed the cooling system and bleed the air out of it..
No coolant reduction/overheat or whatsoever

nothing can be identified without a proper diagnosis in this case
but it sounds like the evaporator temperature sensor is messing up

Try to under stand what i said,when car is running then air cross with pressure through the condenser fins and cool down the condenser,and at idle if fans are not working properly or fins become clogged due to dirt then temperature of condenser will rise up which results in compressor trip up.

The gaskit was also at fault, as the car overheated on long runs. Changed the gaskit. now comes the AC. The condenser is fine not clogged, radiator serviced. AC guy says the thermostat is at fault for which dashboard will come out.

The temperature gauge of my Suzuki Khyber stays at the mark shown in the picture below. Sometimes, when in traffic jam, it climbs approx 5% further. Is this normal?

-The car has new original SGP thermostat valve.
-New water pump
-Coolant is ZIC
-Fan is auto.
-Cooling system metal pipes were changed
-Original Denso radiator cap
-Radiator was serviced a month or two ago. It has very minor seepage though, which doesn't reduce coolant.
-Engine was overhauled in Jan this year and head was surfaced.

One more thing which I want to know. You can see that the line at temperature gauge dial breaks a bit below H. What does that mean. Is it safe before that break line and dangerous afterwards?
