the tank on yours is fractured from the seam, it happens with age. Best find a replacement one or atleast a replacement tank. Ask the repairer if the repair will hold pressure, if he says no - buy a new radiator.

I was getting puzzled by the leak, now i understand it.

What if i undo all the clamps of the damaged area, then use some radiator repair kit (if i find it) or Soldering iron to repair plastic.

Probably better option then undoing all clamps if it works.

About tightening the tensioner pulley bolt - Since i dnt have the torque wrench. Will Hand tightening the bolt and then giving it a quarter turn with rachet work?

FYI, a cheap torque wrench costs around 4.5k, 5 ft lbs to 100 ft lbs range.

Aoa.. I m facing an issue since 3 days... Sometimes my car starts jerking and difficult to pick speed and rpm.. Looking like missing.. It happens sometimes and when i turned off ac it turns out to be ok.. After 1 or 2 km when start ac, the car feels nothing like missing or jerking... I have 98 civic auto.. Car feels underpowered sometimes on ac...

WD40 is not a lubricant. It wont work.

and dont use globs and globs of silicone sealant on the intake. It will become a nightmare.

Oops did that already, sprayed some wd40 from the throttle body hole. I feel super dumb now.. I'll open it up and clean everything up on Saturday. What do you suggest I use as lubricant for the iac motor and from what place should I put the lubricant in(should I disassemble the iac or not? ) ?

I didn't put too much silicone, just a layer. Finding a throttle body and iac gasket is a pain in the azz in islamabad so what method do you suggest I should use to seal everything back in place? Something like a paste or something I could get or whatever, your advice is highly appreciated.

Use power streering oil/ATF to lube iac valve

@xulfiqar, my 2007 Civic Hybrid is making a squeaking noise from the brakes during low speed braking. Its really embarrassing especially when parking in a public car park. I had the brake pads replaced from Honda Center replaced just 10,000KMs ago so the brake pads should be fine I think. I'm not facing any other issue with the brakes. I've never faced such an issue with any of my previous cars. Is this part of general wear and tear?

Would spraying WD40 on the brakes solve the issue? I heard that using Liqui Moly anti brake squeal paste will help, is it true?

Would appreciate your feedback on this.

you probably got a desi service on the brakes. - aka useless.

the correct way to service disc brakes starts with unbolting the caliper and the pad carrier, removing the pads and clips then buffing the abutment surfaces with a wire wheel grinder.

reinstall the abutment clips with silicone grease on the pad ears so they can slide easily.

use copper or moly antisieze on the pad backer plates and shims so they dont chatter (squeal)

reinstall the caliper, lube the pins with silicone grease, flush the brakes and pack the job.

never use WD40 anywhere near the brakes.

did you get it tested?

hot misfire problems can be worn plug wires or distributor cap or even an overheating ignitor in the distributor.

It will be far better if you have the car fuel pressure tested and other failure points tested when its misfiring

I own Mira Custom 2010 automatic, odometer at 70,000 (in Lahore). Kindly advice for following issues (as your experiece is matchless)

1. Mechanic (after observing plug condition) suggest to change (3) plugs which are NGK LKR7C, not available (not even in Montgomery road LHR and KHI).
2. In start of drive little jerk on gear (shifting) but heavy jerk with full Ac blow. I have changed (Toyota CVT) gear oil, it improved but did not fully resolve.
