I have seen same cars with clear glass lamps, i intend to buy those headlamps first for Projector use.

Will that work?? If yes should i buy chinese BiXenon projectors??

I really want projectors, BiXenon HID also works for me but they put too much glare for others on road.

If i go chinese total expense will be under 20k (Lamps can be around 10k i guess).
If i go morimoto mini, then expense will be much greater.

Yes I said you cannot due to the refractor lenses you have, but honestly they work OK too if the reflector is good.

@xulfiqar sir the car in question is our 2006 Lancer 1.3, 97k km on the odo only on petrol, the car is with us since day 1. Quite recently the car has developed knocking issue on regular fuel but no problem at all on hi octane. I have kept this car on 5w30/40 oil since day 1. What could be the problem?

you need to contact @margallar at an agreed amount of his service charges he can rebuilt the whole loom as genuine as NEW, You may need to accompany / transport him around in Pindi car parts / components market near poonch house / hathi gate area. trust me if you can manage to seek his help, your problems will be gone over week end. NOTE: He can help only on weekends. he is not pro - but an skilled amature we few know & trust

Thanx Sir for guidance @capsat I will try to contact him for his help.No problem for service charges as anybody willing to do this work will charge for it.only problem is I go to islamabad on weekend after some weeks as my job is in gujrat now. @xulfiqar Sir what about the wires in engine bay, the main mess, broken wires are in engine bay & under dashboard due to Jugarr work done,heavy usage of nito tapes by electricians,shagirds.

what needs to be done in your car is to remove the dashboard and A/C unit completely - you will also need to remove the bonnet and mudguards/fenders/wings.

Now remove the wiring looms in whole pieces from the big connectors and lay out on tables and test/repair them with solder/heatshrink tubing and then loom them back. The wirings you will buy from scrap would be different than your car and in any case the dashboard needs to be taken out to install it.

Its not an easy task for DIY if you dont have the aptitude, if you are hiring an electrician then prepare to pay him quite a lot because it will take nearly all day of him - he will want all his days business earnings to work this.

When I used to rebuild G100 charades - every car went through this procedure but I didnt hire anyone as I was repairing the wiring myself. The original wiring quality of the cuore is terrible, very thin wires and poor looming because its a very cheaply built car. You will have to improve it and make it better - like plastic tubing and plastic tape for looming (dont use nitto tape, if you are using nitto then use some acetone to remove the glue first and seal the ends of the braid with silicone fusing tape)

practice looming on some junk wiring to get some practice, that way you can make sure your electrician/mechanic is doing a correct job.

by reflector you mean REFLECTOR of the new projector, Right?

Dear @Xulfiqar,

My 2005 Honda City Vario starts vibrating and RPM drops when I put in 'R' mode. Sometimes when I put in 'R' mode keeping brake pedal pressed, it seems as if transmission is engaged forcing the vehicle to move at first but keeping the brake pedal pressed it gets released and vibration goes off. As soon as I release the brake pedal, it gets moving normally. RPM changes a little bit sometimes when I put it in 'D' but that it very nominal. (There is no issue with the pickup or any kind of noise in transmission or shifting. It drives perfect on both modes of D and R)

Last time it got better when I changed the Automatic Transmission Fluid.

Can you please guide me what can be wrong in this case.

@xulfiqar @capsat Sir I have mentioned some months ago about a problem which I still face sometimes that is my Cuore manual 2000 engine turns OFF when slowed near jumpers or speed breakers.i went to a mechanic he said carburator should be opened to check inside, another PW fellow told to take out carb from engine & spray thoroughly in each of its opening with a carb cleaner.mecahnic also checked fuel filter & removed all fuel from it with suspicion of water mixed in it but fuel wasted was clear, fuel filter is 2 month old only genuine toyota.About electrical system mechanic says plugs are good,2 out of 3 plug wires are genuine in good shape,ignition coil cable is good too it was replaced 2 months ago with a kabuli one.Also a PW fellow told I can replace carburator with a 96-98 mira if problem doesn't go away.
Please guide how to proceed here : should carburator be opened to check inside? Or what do you recommend

As car was turning OFF at every speed breakers, jumpers so I took it to mechanic he checked & showed me distributor point was finished (sikka khatam ho chuka tha) he told to replace it with genuine,cost 600 but I told him to make it work for few more days,actualy I have in mind another fellow member replaced his cuore distributor with Mira distributor so should I do like this too or just change the point?

Water pump pushes the coolant through the system when engine is running,when engine is shut off,the coolant will stop flowing and some times gurgles,if there are air pockets in the system.
Check the cooling system thoroughly,there might be a pin hole or minor leakage in the cooling system.

If water pump (water body) is OK, check the thermostatic valve. Replace it.

your cooling system is not right, there is some minor leak.. how did you check the head gasket?

dont use that mechanic for any engine work - he has no idea whats going on. automatics are very gentle on mountings, manual ones beat them up.

I showed the car to Shahjee Gulshan branch, they drove the car and gave 13k estimate for suspension work and said they'll change the engine mount for the cost of part i.e no labor cost. I bugged them to tell me the details of the required work in suspension which they did after much fuss. I was not satisfied with their dealing so brought back. The next day showed it to Afzal bhai of Abdul Hameed and Sons in Saddar ( found the recommendation by @xulfiqar and @capsat on other threads). True to his reputation he checked the car with full integrity and concluded that no suspension work is required. He said gear mounting were broken and needed to be replaced which he helped in getting done for Rs 1700. Car is running smooth now.

I also used Total Coolant (green pre dilluted), my mechanic, without giving much argument, said these are all fakes. He only recommends to use from honda or toyota.

buy a bottle of coolant and dnt break its seal or packing etc then put it into freezer of your household refrigerator for whole night......if it freezes in morning thn its fake......otherwise its alright.if it freezes then return it to vendor.
