they dont seem to have silicone grease for automotive use, only silicon liquid fluid and silicon inorganic food grade soap is mentioned.

plus its in karachi

search around, you will find it, brandreth road is the place.

I also want to procure greases for my car from brandth.

Can u give us a small list of items that one should have in his cabinet for car maintenance??

Like slicon grease, anti seize etc.

I want primariliy for brakes servicing, but also for electrical terminals etc.

I want to get all in one phera, that place is too crowded.

I procured 3M degreaser that was bit expensive, and another was Grez Off that coasted around 750 but was 1liter (or may be .75L).

I feel that degreaser croaded battery terminal and few other bolts. Degreazer k liye bhee koi types hain??

2) Where to get brake cleaner, any particular brand name??

3) you mentioned copper antisieze, are there any other antisieze that I sould not confuse with?

4) which workshop you recommend for brake service. Aur kisi achay radiator walay ka patta ha lahore mai??

degreaser is usually okay for brakes, 3m is nice. Brake cleaner aerosol is stronger, its available at most big oil stores. Chinese brands are okay for brake clean

there is also nickel antisieze but copper is preffered.

What exactly is wrong with your radiator and brakes?

When I turn ON the AC it cools but when speed goes above 45 kmph it trips and gets restart after 10 minutes or have to restart it manually. Of we drive at 45 or under it works fine. I have showed it to many mechanics in lahore they said whole AC will be replaced, or compressor and condensor. Can you please guide me about the problem and it's possible solution I can go with. Thanks

Ok so my power steering was leaking. Got it repaired along with power fluid change. Now the problem that has come up is the steering is acting weird. Some times it gets hard on left and very light on right, sometimes it gets hard or right and soft on left. Sometimes it is slightly light on both sides. There was no such problem before other than the leak. Went to the guy who repaired it and he said get it cleaned with diesel from inside.i understand that diesel will eff up the steering. What should i do? Should i take it off the car and then get it check from the same guy? The steering has been repaired once before too. This current repair only included change of ends and seals of some upper part of steering. Please guide. Its a hectic job to take liana steering off and back on.

he put diesel fuel in the steering system and you did not deposit your boot in his behind??????? diesel fuel can make the spool valve seals leak badly in the rack which will then cause bad steering behaviour.

Aoa @xulfiqar @capsat Sir I bought a qabli Mira carburetor for my Cuore.it is a little different then Pak made Cuore. There is a silver color steel pipe attached to it which isn't present in local Cuore carb.Even mechanic doesn't know what is it for.Please tell what it is for & is there any hose attached to it or fuel intake or is it extra?

No,diesel has not been used. It was suggested by a person but i didnt let him do it till i could search on it. Any suggestions? What should i do? Would bleeding it all over again help?

Any input on this question is appreciated, just a general knowledge question.

I've seen many mechanics remove the head of the engine bay, the place from where the spark plugs go in. There's oil inside of that part of the engine along with a chain or something but I think people get the idea of the part of the engine I'm talking about. The mechanics put it on back without any sealant or anything by just screwing it in. Would a sealant of some sort be necessary?
