Today mechanic told me this & another ports are only used in auto trans

mechanic was missing his ciggies probably.

he even forgot to connect the choke breaker on yours - @margallar is right, this port goes to the evap system.

Pics of today with new settings, some changes done by other mechanic today.is it better? Please point faults on pic so that I can tell mechanic to fix it properly.in this carburetor 2 openings are on left bottom side when viewing carburetor standing in front of engine

Today I had radiator tank replaced with a brass tank. Tanks sheet looked very thin and light. Although it is not leaking right now and holding pressure. I dont like the way cap fitted on this, but currently cap is not leaking. Tightening of cap is bit hard and not smooth, i fear surface will damage the cap eventually.

What do u say?

I want to replace timing belt of corolla 2 D saloon 2008...96000 driven
I got this belt from a reputable dealr and he says this is original Toyota timing ?
and these are two bearing. from Toyota 3S these are worth 24000 plus 6k for service charges..I got timing belt for 42000 ..are these things ok?

@xulfiqar @margallar @meh1 is that encircled golden color thing called CB diaphragm? If yes shouldn't it be connected via VTV to any port in carburetor again instead of what we see here as it is attached to AC choke or relay?

I think in your case TVSV is on the carburetor , not the manifold. Seems like you connected the coolant pipes correctly

The circled part might be the choke breaker. To find out what it does, attach a long vacuum pipe to it and suck on it with your mouth. See what happens

This pipe is not required for you, it is for emissions, which is totally unnecessary in PK and has no performance gain, block it

This green tanky VTV? Isn't present in my connections of carburetor.from where it starts & connects to what in end?

yes thats a VTV. It can go to the dashpot or the choke breaker, Wait for @xulfiqar, he is the real authority on this

@xulfiqar i was charging a split ac it required around 600gms of R22 i added the refrigerant but the pressure gauge was not going beyond 72psi even i was charging the system, i was charging with short small bursts. What can be wrong here? Its a mitsubishi unit around 5yrs old.

Has anyone ever had an experience of a very strong unpleasant smell coming from the car from an undetectable source? Bought a used car 2 months back and from day 1 there was an unpleasant smell coming from the car. Ive looked everywhere but there isn't any apparent source from where it could be coming for. Tried using different types of air fresheners but the smell in strong enough to still be noticeable. Does anyone have any idea what could it be?

guys, I am in the middle of a very serious situation. I had completely restored the exterior of my mehran 1996. it was a genuine painted car which was had rusted roofs and joints. I got it restored, spent a good 46k. got the car back on 26th july I.e. last week. after yesterday's heavy rainfall, I had noticed minor rusting on the roof again. day before yesterday I.e. friday, I had my car with the top cover at my office. heavy rainfall started at the evening, I took off the top cover and parked the car at the basement. upon leaving the office I had encountered heavy rainfall. by the grace of Allah I had safely reached home but the rain still continued. so I parked my car and covered it with the top cover. I had difficulty in putting on the top cover since it was wet. yesterday when I removed the top cover, I saw goosebumps on the pillars of the car and shading/discolouration on the entire car especially the roof.

please help on this

Swap OM602.962 to a W124 300TE? Both cars will be standing next to each other on the lift

Per mechanics at job : Swap engine, wiring, ignition lock, clean the petrol fuel tank, empty the fuel lines with pressurized air and swap the speedometers. Ofc some other things will be done as well.

My queries ;

Does the tranny have to be swapped aswell?
Are the engine mounts the same?

And : Is it worth it :P?

Sir many of you have used Civic 8th gen prosmatic
I want one favour ,my car is 30000km on odo.
I am felling its shifting slightly slower than before.
I decided to change its atf .
Honda people are showing a filter 1900rs in price.
Should i change it with atf.
As we bought our car in 2010.

The car is only 30000km driven but 6 years old

Also where is the filter located.
