I am facing serious issue specially when familt is in the car

I am using father's Corolla 2009 since last 2-3 months.
It is XLi which was later converted to Power Windows
when i started using this car 3 months ago, Its Power windows were too stucky, too slow.1 of them was not working at all.
I took it to shop in Sagheer Centre,F.B.Area(who claimed for repairing power windows since last 15-16 years).

They charged Rs. 2000/= for servicing all 4 door windows BUT IT WAS CURSE.................

After that day, whenever i use to switch any window up or down, switch of ECU gets blown-up. I took my car to electrician, he put wiring of power windows separately from built-infuse box.

For that purpose he has installed separate relay,separate wires & separate fuses on right side (under steering). According to them, now power windows is direct(no connection with fuse box)- Proof is that now power windows working without inserting key in ignition,,,,it is direct from Battery.(Before we had to put Key in ignition switch & move key to "start" or "ON" position for making power windows working)

But still whenever if key is in ignition (Start or ON mode) then if anyone switch window UP or DOWN, then ECU-fuse gets blown up (BUT IF KEY IS NOT IN IGNITION THEN YOU CAN EASILY SWITCH POWER WINDOWS UP OR DOWN.NO ISSUE)

This is causing me in trouble from 3 months, i have tried different auto-electrician but no difference. Some says change whole fuse box, some says change whole wiring, some says your power window's machine are "short"
How can 4 windows of power windows get "short" same time.

i am too worry.please guide me how to troubleshoot towards root cause.

Can anybody guide me as to how much would replacing the syncro of the 3rd gear cost? The car in question is baleno 04. The gears grind when I shift from 2nd to 3rd and from my research and even according to xulifiqar bhai it's a problem with the syncro rings.

And would changing the gear oil to a thicker one help with the problem? I don't know currently what oil is in there but it's clear like water but Im planning to replace it with zic gear ff to see if it helps.

I have a car behaving like a human. Its engine and drive is smooth on petrol since overhauled 15 months ago. But after every 150-200 KMs drive it starts jerking a little and hesitates while accelerating, the engine become sluggish and looks like random missfires occuring with little jerks. This behavior remains for 20-30 KMs randomly, looks like my car is sick during that time. Then at night the car vomiting a little engine oil like 2-3 spoon. Next morning the engine become smooth again for 150-200 KMs. During normal healthy days engine oil doesn't leak.

AoA I have a santro 2008 model recently the thermostat sensor got faulty it switches the fan randomly when the temp gauge goes above the first dot but sometimes it doesn't . I wanted to know if anyone knew the cost of it here in Karachi and a reliable electrician who could properly diagnose the issue. Thanks

the one i know is at Jail Road Karachi there is no mobile network there but its easy at landing of jail road bridge go straight cross the prison main gate which is on right side, you stay on left, stop at the ONLY large tree on left [on right side is prison admin office entry gate ] the Guy name is Feroz he wear glasses & walk with a stick in his hand.

He charges premium rate and knows his job to lift dents without destroying paint. after inspecting the dent if he says yes he can do it means he will do it if he decline to do it means the job surely need a complete dent & paint work.

Is the operating temperature correct? and do you know of what was done in the overhaul? piston clearances too tight perhaps?

it may also be a failing crankshaft position sensor dying from heat.

yes sir, piston clearances were too tight so the hot engine start problem occurred initially. now the operating temperature is normal fan is automatic & thermostat valve is working fine never overheated in summer with AC even.

My car leaked its entire oil while going uphill and it knocked but fortunately I was able to turn it off before engine could seize. Cause was timing seal popped out and it was then replaced with new one and new oil was filled. But now engine gives knocking sound when revving it to 3000 rpm on idle. While running under load it is fine and only sometime knocks while moving in first gear.

Some one said that crank shaft will need to be surfaced and pieces will be replaced while some say main bearing will need replacement. Can you please guide what could be the actual issue and how much it will cost fixing it? Can it be inspected by removing oil sump and inspecting from underside or engine will need to be removed?

Car is Cultus carby 2007 and engine and everything was in perfect condition but there was a minor oil leak problem.

Aoa @xulfiqar need quick answer car is in workshop. Car is experiencing vibrations after installing engine mounts. Please suggest something and also turning of steering to one side is sometime harder after suspension work.... I need to go to workshop after 8 hours in the morning.plz let me know about it

My Suzuki Liana 2009 lxi is giving very poor fuel mileage. It gives me around 6-8km/L in city and around 11km/L on highways. It's driven less than 45000 kms and totally on Petrol. I got its spark plugs, air filter, oil filter, engine oil, gear oil, tuning coolant and brake pads changed and throttle body and brake discs and drums serviced recently from Suzuki Central Motors but I'm still getting poor fuel mileage. All sensors are okay, checked personally with ob2 bluetooth scanner, Cleaned fuel injectors recently myself. And I think car's acceleration has also gone very poor not sure though. I usually don't drive fast. On full tank it gives around 300 -330kms.
Please help.

i found out on Service B that all 4 of my ignition coils had been nitto taped at the joint between the adapter and the tube bit it was amazing it didnt have misfire or any problems yet but the tape was starting to melt

I am ordering these blind though on the website it says my model is compatible, I coudnt find new ones anywhere in Pakisitan and shahnawaz took 3 months and they are still clueless as to where they are first saying they were being manufactured by the factory for me in germany which I think is silly and now saying twice the shipment got lost blaming qatar airways blaming this and that I now got a refund

will these bosch ones work? currently I have beru ones installed as in picture below but they are nitto taped at the joint though car works well

btw shahnawaz ones are considerably more expensive at 130 dollar a piece.

also is there a difference in coil connectors between different m111s or m271? as I found some which shopkeepers said compatible but the wiring harness woudnt plug in properly

@xulfiqar bhai my 1zr-fe's PCV spitting oil along gases in the air intake manifold...should i replace the PCV valve with new one or install an oil catch can ??

Can you tell us how you are ordering through ebay? I myself need to get coils for my car and they are exceptionally expensive here i'd much rather save some cash!

unfortunately you cant order directly from ebay while in Pakistan. I friend was coming over from uk I told him to get it. However you can order from amazon usa through websites in pakistan like magic lamp where you tell them what you want and you pay them advance and they bring the product to your doorstep in3-4 weeks. Its unlike pkship where you pay using your own card and they first ship it to a dummy address in USA and then to you. magic lamp or shopping bag.pk also has cash on delivery for orders less than 6000rs (including shipping charges) however I woudnt trust these companies for a expensive order and ofcourse you will have to pay at least 5-10k in their own fees and shipping. I used ebay as a last resort and luckily the friend was coming. though beware even sellers on amazon and ebay can be shady and deliver wrong or low quality parts.

Salam, Recently I bought a toyota echo 2001 (same as vitz) london model. It has 2nz engine under the hood with AT tranny.
Now here I need ur help. 3 days ago I noticed a weird problem in my car. Sometimes (after driving) when I turn the key to ACC to turn off the engine, everything turns off including meter lights, blower etc but the engine won't and when I move the key from ACC to lock position, the self-starter kicks in during the already running engine due to which a huge karrrr karrr sound is produced.
Then I went to electrician, he found that the wiring of ignition switch is tempered. Khair he satisfied me by saying that k mene ab sari wiring set krdi hai, ab masla nhi hoga. Next morning, again same problem.
Weird thing is that when this issue happens, heat indication light turns on in the meter. And some times engine check light also comes on while driving but then it goes off after 2-3 hours.
I am thinking to get the ignition switch replaced with kabuli one.
Experts what is your take on this issue ? Plz help me sort out this problem. I am really worried about it. @xulfiqar Sir

@xulfiqar, howto check the auxiliary fan on my w203? i want to check if it fluctuates with Ac load, I heard on w210 you can press both auto buttons for few seconds and the fan would cycle to max and back but that method doesnt seem to work on mine?

@xulfiqar i have changed the master cylinder the brake is much better now i think there isnt any air in the system or master cylinder but one problem is that during a heavy brake the front ones lock and the rear dont have power so the car slips without stopping, during mild braking the front wheels dont lock up and the car is stopped very easily. Now from what i read there is a difference between the proportional valve for rear drums and rear discs because drums require less pressure and discs require more pressure, since i have the rear drums one (i didnt change it still original one fitted) i think i need to change it to the discs one but the main problem is i dont know the difference between both they dont have part numbers written on them and they look the same so if you have any idea how to differentiate them that will be perfect
