Toyota dealreships have this bad habit of recommending engine tuning and they tend to remove spark plugs and most of the time claim gaps are not right and adjust them and that damages the plug. The zr series engines come with iridium plugs and in owners manual it is specifically mentioned not to adjust gaps in iridium plugs. I also had this engine tuning done to my 1.6 altis on 20000km check up and the ruined the acceleration. Same may have happened to you as well plus use a good quality air filter as the cheap ones make sounds. These are some of my own experiences with altis

Okay. Thanks for the useful comment. I will check for the spark plugs if they are faulty. For the Air filter, i always use the one provided by Toyota 3S.i never use the ones available in the market. Could 3S filters be of cheap quality?

@Xulfiqar . sir i am facing a serious and dangerous problem with my santro club gv . its good and if it is moving , then no issue. all is well. but from last few days, its engine stalls whenever it wants. m going on road smoothly and suddenly engine stalls and it don't start again but after some time it again start and move for another 2 or 102 kms (depend upon my car's wish) . kuch samaj nai a rha. first i thought due to dirty fuel it is creating problem but i got it checked (fuel ,filter and oil pump) and there is no fuel issue.
yesterday this problem was on peak. after every 5 minutes its engine was stalling and at one time, it refused to start so an electrician checked and started it after spending 15 minutes on it. and after that i travelled 30 kms and reached home and parked it in my home and it was ok. Electrician told that get it checked by computer there may be fault in crank sensor. i need ur expert opinioin bro. now it is clear it is issue of current and electrician fixed issue temporarily . what should b the problem????

We don't have any checks on these dealerships so can't say they always provide the original parts. A few months back I bought oil filter from 3s Toyota dealer for my vitz. Although it had the sticker of indus motor on the packing the filter felt the same as the 2no sold as genuine by local shops. Before it I had bought filter for vitz 3-4times and it had different parking and filter was also of different quality. These 3s dealers have also started ripping customers in parts department as well.

True! Pity on us. We can't even find any better place to rely upon. Even can't have enough trust on dealerships because you never know.
I have personally witnessed alot of mess going on in these dealerships.

im facing a strange issue with my altis 1.6 2012...odo 107500
after 2000km after every oil change it starts to decrease engine oil and till 5000 it is consuming around 500 to 700 ml of engine oil...
there is no signs of smoke from exhaust,at idle,at cold start or anytime !
pcv valve changed bt the OEM was also working fine bt still the intake manifold is like sprayed with oil... fuel injector and air inlet valve are fully black with carbon or oil deposits!
did a compression test n all 4 cylinders result was 120-125 psi which is below normal i guess !
my again not even a very small amount of smoke observed... checked with radiotor cap removal no air bubbles appeared from there too...

what could be the issue ?

Im facing jerking issues at low rpms in my swift 100,000 kms driven on neutral when I press accelerator the engine is smooth but while driving at low rpms it takes jerks on hard acceleration it runs fine. got the throttle body serviced but of no use

Salam Bro. I own a Civic 1999 Vti Oriel (Vtec). I'm having a problem. My car cuts off current on slow when the RPM is on 1000 which it should cutt on 6000+. and there's no cutting off the current on high speed. due to this it gives jerks on slow. Please help.

@Xulfiqar AOA. I am facing a small problem with my carburetor issue. I have Nissan B12 having E13 in it. I recently overhauled my engine and purchase kabuly carburetor. It was in never opened and on original settings. I was running fine with small throttle jamming problem(kuch dair gari chalany k bad speed barh jati thi km ni hoti thi khud say throttle ko peechy karo to theek hoti thi) due to this I opened my carburetor clean it, on reinstalling the problem is gone but it introduced another problem which is car RPM drops on load but on idle only. When I switch on lights or press brake paddle car rpm drop and car lights dims a bit.

Can anybody point out where is the problem ? it was working fine before .(pehly load apply karny p rpm automatically increase decrease hota tha or light dim nai hoti thi)
