5W-30 refers to temperature range of oil where as its other properties are graded in API grade of lub oil such as API-SN. Please read in the link given below. It might help.

Directed to senior members of this forum, especially @Xulfiqar bhai and @capsat Can anyone me point me to an adept car electrician in Karachi? I own 2004 corolla and have this issue of current/voltage fluctuation with typical symptoms of variation in intensity of headlight and change in brightness of electronic instrument cluster. Sometimes, i do feel that even the fan speed of the AC is even impacted with volatility in current/voltage. May be its the faulty generator or some issue with the general car wiring.

PS. I am new to this forum and dont know the jargons of auto industry so apologies if i have not articulated properly.

I am not a senior member but still, try getting your alternator checked, issue can vary from a bad belt to the whole thing busted or jammed, and maybe it is due to some heavy equipment like sound system with equalizer or heavy speakers not properly wired or a cool box or any after market thing with wrong wires used for connection so more details are needed, i am saying this as you are saying it happens sometimes, and also mention the city please so members from your locality can suggest a good electrician

mitsubishi lancer and hyundai excel had the same engines and a lot of other parts too. The daewoo racer was a clone of the old opel kadett (european GM division) - and had nothing similar to any japanese car.

only 2 of these oils are low viscosity..

0w40 is diesel rated heavy oil

have any good electrician test the neutral safety switch or gear position switch and verify where the loss of start signal is occuring.

It can be the neutral safety switch, the ignition switch, the start relay, the starter, the starter solenoid or even bad cables. Any good and half smart electrician can sort it out. its a pretty simple circuit.

Aoa @Xulfiqar sir I am in dire need of your help as I have come across a very annoying problem in my Ke 70.I recently got my carb. serviced cz its so called FAWARA was blocked.Now the problem that I'm facing is that when I connect the gas(CNG) pipe to the carb or even place my hand at that hole,its starts running rich and does missing.Just connecting that pipe starts trouble and this problem occurs only on petrol.No leakage from gas kit.got it checked.My mechanic hasn't even traced the problem yet.I have got it serviced again by using a carby kit,replaced plugs,distributor cap,point and even timing chain as advised by him but the issue is still there and now I'm tired...
It has its stock 4k engine and only 67k driven.

Can u plz specify which ones from the above are low viscosity?

Also, I have compiled some oils, which ones would u say are thin or thick? Have been 3n trying to compare them with honey's cSt in imagination but having no idea.
