C51 / C 52 if you are looking to change go for C 59 which can be mated bolt-on into Corolla with 7AFE, 1ZZ-FE & 2ZR-FE engines

This came in the Pak model Altis? Gear ratios are a bit different but any other advantages of C59?
Unless if there is no alteration needed in the mount I can try if they are not asking high price for it

That is can i convert a sedan into a hatchback of the same model n varient? If i have the complete donar car avalible with me? What are the possibilities for that? Things i have to keep in mind before cutting both cars?

What is a proper procedure/method to clean/service a vehicle's fuel tank?
I have a honda city 2005 and i have changed its break oil, gear oil and want to change its fuel filters too but before that i think i should be cleaning its fuel tank too.
Please guide.

Should be possible if you don't care about structural strength and design compromise, and it shouldn't be easy to get even a half decent finish/look

Structural compromise, as in cutting the boot and at least some part of the a pillars, and the design I said will be difficult to get a perfect or even a near perfect example of the original hatchback, as per my knowledge cutting and deleting will compromise integrity, the job might be easy for older cars, but anyways. I assume you might be thinking of a civic conversion ? And you also had a Cressida or some other vintage you restored? My memory does fail me so forgive me if I'm wrong, but if you are that fellow , I think you might just pull it off with your knowledge, attention to detail and resources​

Lol yeah i was thinking of the old civic​ You got me there 🏻 High five... n to be honest im no expert n its the whole next level of mods even i had some to little experience in this but its just a question i had in my mind n i wanted to share my thoughts bcz hatchbacks are very few here n those who have them are nt selling or asking a crazy amount of money so i thought y not merge a sedan's front with a illegal hatch which cant b legalized anyways..

look up chasis number number restamping etc, maybe it will be possible and legal if you own the donor car and the other one, i dont know too much about the legal formalities in Pakistan as in when its "koi nahi puchta" and when its "bhai warr jao gy" , hope someone can guide you better, and you are running the mazda thread rite?

I have a Nissan Dayz and it is showing 5 maintenance or fault symbol in speedometer, I visited many mechanics but everytime they simply connect one device with a cable and reset something after which check engine symbol off for a while and appear again after 2 or 3 days but 5 symbols of maintenance signs never go off or shows 0. Codes for doing the diagnosis and rectifying the fault causing error register in ECU, reset is not a solution.

consider a bruise over human skin which need stitching to stop bleeding but you try to control it only by a band-aid. result .. swollen area and non-stop ozzing and an infection after a while which need major surgrey.

@capsat i have an issue which is not being dealt by any of cng/petrol mechanics.

i have Liana 2006 non-ff cng kit (local one, not injected one) 133k km on odo- the car runs perfectly on CNG but suddenly its RPM drops itself and car shuts off - this occurs usually while slowing down, on release of clutch/braking - and i can be in middle of road, on a signal or anywhere. the issue aggravates on AC.

please note that there is no issue on petrol - only on cng. the plugs are brand new, airfilter is new and its box is sealed, TB was changed few months ago but that was of no use at all, the TB is recently serviced along with the IAC. CNG mechanics saw it and did trial and error but no solution. went to scan guy and he said no need to scan as car doesn't have any CEL. the coils are still factory fitted DENSO Japan and car have zero missing issues.

please provide your technical insight for permanent solution. thanks in advance.

the gas regulator is clogged with OIL, drain it from drain plug at the regulator and drive to see the difference

Can i do a diy or what? Is there a screw to open and tight? The issue of rpm dropping esp when ac is turned ON too pertains to same issue?

yes it is DIY but a tricky one. you may need to identify the model of kit in your car, then look for a diagram to identify the location of oil drain plug. it is a standard 12 mm bolt at the bottom of regulator. exercise caution with tools and washers removed to place back in actual order.

Has anyone had the experience of changing the rear drum brakes pads on their own? I want to get the pads of my car changed but don't want the crude mechanics to do them since they're extremely careless. I have watched videos and the front brakes seem easy enough but the rear brakes seem hard but not impossible. By looking at the video I can judge that I can do them myself but I want to know from some person who has done it in real life because some times there are surprises which you don't expect like something getting stuck and you being unable to take it off.

If the members here don't suggest changing brake pads yourself then is there a good mechanic in islamabad who does this stuff in a proper way? All 4 tyres need changing.

Another thing I wanted to know was if brake retention clips are easily available in Pakistan? I want to replace them but don't know where to find them. These clips are the ones that go on the calipers and in which the ends of brake shoes rest. @Xulfiqar @capsat

Btw after listening to xulifiqar bhai I also change the brake fluid. Bleeding all 4 tyres of 3 vehicles using a desi jack is a real pain.

I have a strange problem. Brakes of my Honda Fit 2012 GP2 gets hard for some time when AC is on and car is stuck in traffic during hot season. If I turned AC off then it gets normal again.
Please suggest how to solve this issue.

I was trying to open the calipers to see if the brake pads were worn out enough and I kept trying to unscrew the screw in red and I gave it about 20 turns before I realized only the one in white had to be opened. I opened and inspected everything etc but when I tried to rotate the red screw in the opposite direction it wouldn't budge so I left it like that and put the tyre back on. I want to know if this is bad? This screw wasn't meant to be unscrewed so even after 20 rotations it was still hard as before so I think it shouldn't matter but still want to confirm.
