Hi sir. Can you please help me my suzuki gs 150 is creating problems. It gets heated and wont start i have consulted both electrician and mechanic . It seems like they are unable to identify the problem

AoA Xulfiqar bhai,

I own an Nissan AD van, model 2006 having QG13DE engine (JDM). The engine has clocked around 230k kms and for the past 6 years i am using havoline formula 10w-30 oil in it. Yesterday i got my hands on its owner's manual through a friend and I was surprised to know that they recommend 0w20 SL oil for this engine. Can I switch to said viscosity at this stage of engine life. Overall engine health is fine, no oil loss, no blue smoke at exhaust, coolant in radiator throughout, fans are auto and thermostat in place. Average fuel consumption remained around 11 to 12 km/l in city/highway mix driving. I want to improve fuel consumption and engine response by adding thin oil but hesitate to do due to engine's age and the use of higher grade oils previously.

And also 0w-20 SL grade oil is good for temperatures between -30 to 40 + degree centigrade as per chart whereas most of the people including me relate the oil grade values to temperature values. Is it correct method.

Your valuable advice is required.

Dont worry about mileage if oil control rings arent worn nothing would happen make sure engine oil ventilation(pcv valve pipe over it breather pipe) etc are in good shape (hard rubber pipe means bad I have seen them getting as hard as plastic) first shift to 5w-30 and see keep observing how much it gets reduced if it stays up to mark still drain time than move to 0w-20 and observe first oil than drain

Thanks brother for the advice, PCV valve is working fine, both PCV and breather pipes are soft and in good condition. I will switch oil grades as you mentioned.

Brother i have the same problem from like a month and its driven me crazy, did you fix it? what was the issue Also Xulfiqar bhai pls HELPPP MEEEEEEEE and my car vibrates extremely when releasing clutch halfway

The same problem: clutch feels like it isn't pressed and won't go into gear when the car is cold but after some kicks the clutch starts working a bit and when the engine is hot it works perfectly like why?

I had same problem in my car. Couldn't figure it out until it failed to disengage the clutch totally.

Opened up the master cylinder and found the spring broken in many pieces.

Bulb was Ok too but there is some rust how to check is it due to rust and I need holder replacement
I can use Multimeter for this purpose if you can guide

Yes but i have bought a new master cylinder and rebuilt the slave cylinder, Also mmy flywheel or clutch has a problem the whole car vibrates when clutch is released, my mechanic said your flywheel must be jammed idk what he meant he said your disc is rough and your disc is jammed i think disc is what we call a flywheel!

want to ask a question. I have ford escape 2015 model, I am doing regular service from ford, last week 80k service done. I ask service advisor that when they change transmission fluid? he tell me that is for life time, no need to change. I am confused. is there any transmission fluid for lifetime? or I have to change that.

Aoa. I have 2 D car 2008.. 110k driven.. was using 10w30 Toyota 4L tin pack oil for last 10000km. Change interval was 4000km. Oil filter was guard.. I am noticing some blow for Las few days.. previously was using Toyota petron 20w50 oil with change I terval of 2500km..is this blow related to tin pack oil or something else.. I used to change oil from Toyota service center or from my friend shop.. using car for Last 4 years.. single handed driven.. no heat up.. .no oil reduction.. I am concerned about blow... need your expert feed back.. thanks
