What is the correct way to check ATF level: Early mornings with engine off or When the engine is warm and also running?

Hi,
I am facing a problem with my car since quite sometime. Had several visits to dealership and they checked and came up with no problem with the car but being the owner of this car for the past 3 years I know exactly what difference is there.
My car is making a hissing/air sucking or pushing type of noise when i accelerate hard which never used to be heard before. It started to appear a few months ago more on that, my car's idle is not that smooth and it is sluggish while reving up from low rpm of about 1100 in 2nd shift or even first. While changing gears the car stumbles after i release the clutch pedal, which none of this ever occured before. So if anyone could help me on suggesting what the problem could be.

There is also a noticeable whinning/rattling noise coming from the engine bay while slow accelerating from idle till 1700 rpm. The noise is much like the noise that corolla produce while you cold start the car and untill the engine warms up.

Can anyone tell me what this part is called in 1.8 Altis 2015 and what is its function? As I diagnosed the ratlling/whinning noise is coming from this thing.

before doing this buy a wd40 spray cost around 200/rs and while doing this spray it in engine bay. It removes moisture immediately.

@Xulfiqar please help me on this and need your guidance. There is a noticeable noise coming from this part in the morning which becomes lesser when engine warms up but is still there. Car is also jerking in low shift at lower rpms.
Is there any way to fix this or need to change?

kindly post some pics with different angles, so it would be easy for members to identify this part.
And to me, it seems like a vacuum leak problem (cause of hissing sound). Take a look on youtube about performing smoke test for rectifying vacuum leaks. It may help you !

My father has xli 2006( Petrol + cng) but since last week, car feels Poor acceleration(ghuti ghuti)
I took car to mechanic who did tuning which included Cleaning of injectors,replacement of spark plugs,new air filter, cleaning of throttle body with petrol,adjustment of RPM etc.but at the end of the work, similar noise, almost same "ghuti ghuti" then he told me finally that this problem is due to STAP or its wiring and emulator etc. so he removed and cut off connection s near plugs. Now car is 90% better but still some ghuti ghuti even on petrol and Check Engine Light has come on Dashboard
My question is that when i am not using cng so how stap is interfering in car ghuti ghuti(poor acceleration). Mechanic told check with cng wala and if he could not solve then we will change Engine spark plugs coils.
Even after spending Rs. 3,500 I am still puzzled what is the issue, where am I lacking. Please advise how to solve this gjuti ghuti issue

@brownrose78 have you checked the compression of the cylinders of engine? Also any idea when did you last change the fuel filter.

Bhai, no I have not done compression test of cylinder.
Fuel filter...we have not changed I think since last 5-6 years
Mechanic just told that it might be because of Engine,dont tell more details

@capsat - my Baleno 2004 have auto fan. it turns ON at correct timings and shuts off when it should. but sometimes the temp needle shoots to 70% and then fan kicks in and then it brings the temp needle down to 50%. why is it happening? recently had radiator serviced so currently i am having water in cooling system. tstat is out.but temp needle remains intact at 50% all the time no issue. please suggest me in following:

1. why the temp shoots to 70% only sometimes??
2. can any high-speed fan be installed of any other car?
3. when using AC, the radiator fan doesnt come up instantly but behaves as per temperature (in my liana both fans starts with ac) - can a relay etc be used to make radiator fan come up all the time with AC?

Your car is overheating and if you installed t.valve in such situation you will worsen this issue first find reason of overheating
Check condition of external fins of radiator
Check if water body fins are worn (eaten by rust)
Also poor lubricant can make car overheat (check if oil pressure is good)

But this needle cross 50% mark once in a blue moon. Warna its all ok. What is this? Can i clean the thermo switch i.e that is dipped in coolant for temp?

Fan relay is responsible for triggering the fan? And is it responsible for fan speed too? Plz elaborate

Change both things thermostat+fan relay mostly times thermostat is faulty
