@capsat
Bhai i am always inspired by you and @shqamar posts.
In above posts, i saw you recommending JAMIL Autos so i also tried my luck as i am facing minor problem but hectic since last few months.
My EFi Cultus has issue of distributor seal leak issue which i am trying to fix since last few months; issue is that inner rubber seal(or may be u call it o-ring or whatever). I could not find exact size; also 3s dealers are in short of this part as this is usual problem in efi cultus. So i tried to fix with nearest possible size but to my badluck, it always gets leak.
Most;y rubber seal/o-ring is Rs. 20 to 200/=; other costs are of Silicone, Elfy etc. Total labor ranging from Rs. 200 to Rs. 500( i tried this 7-8 times) but all time i think it is not direct fault of mechanic as always i failed to provide him exact sized spring.
When i visited JAMIL autos, there was reasonable guy; i think name was Irshad or Arshad or something like that. He checked & told that he will open distributor and give it to some /distributor wala who will fix it; Estimated cost he told will be Rs. 2,500 but he is assuring that it will be guarantee of few months that it will not re-leak again
He told me to bring car in spare time to have ample time for repairing.I asked him what will distributor wala do? He told it will be his job; he will do Fixing whatever the problem is....
I am still puzzled that is this cost justified? I have no questions of his expertise but only i am getting double-minded that as i have no mch money saved this month so should i wait for some more time to get seal from Suzuki 3S and go to ordinary mechanic who charges between 200 to 500?
I am asking you @capsat bhai, is his charges usually high in other works too like tuning etc. ? I am relying on your suggestions & recommendations
I understand that some mechanics charges high but it worth their work, so will you put Jamil autos in same category?
BTW part i am referring is present here in picture:
