sir xulfiqar after how many years or kms one should change the radiator cap in car? in case there is no time or km duration then what should be observed which may lead to change it.

In repair manuals, the rad cap is advised to be tested everytime the coolant is changed,

If the cap fails pressure holding test, replace it.

@Xulfiqar bhai, can you explain how to perform pressure holding test of Radiator cap wether they are working upto mark or not.

I heard that locally manufactured Radiator caps like SNA brands are only apparently good but do not perform well when it comes to operating at High temperature

Its quite funny that people always have heard bad things of made in Pakistan stuff.

I have used SNA parts a lot and they were perfectly good to use.

I own such a radiator cap tester, its very simple to use. You can diy one quite easily if you are crafty

I personally believe that one should never cheap out on such basic and vital small items which if fails can lead to a bigger expense and hassle.
Alhumdolellah recently got a brand new oem radiater cap for my vitz. I ll install it tomorrow in sha Allah

how much it costed? and which model of vitz mine also reducing coolant in reservior though no leakage anywhere

But I am on a different boat, I use the best and reliable but lowest cost caps.

Recently my supplier sent me a cap for a corolla which was quite pretty and made in india, and I promptly called them up and asked to send me a US made one from stant.

Personal reasons, lol

P.s. customer asking for genuine cap get a genuine cap.

throttle body cleaning. plugs changed, tappet adjusted. lube oil 10w 30 Havoline. no oil reduction

Did the problem start abruptly or Gradually? Did it start on its own or after some work?
Is it a manual or an automatic?
When in neutral, Rev it and see if it revs smoothly or hinders

i think gradually.
its manual
some times when press clutch rpm comes to normal after some sec not immediately.
2nd with ac on rpm fluctuate. and in ist gear with ac car vibrates little when press pedal.

does bad iacv effect car pick and milage?

It does, but when in neutral, if you Rev the car(race dey us ko) does it Rev easily or does it hesitate

Hi, I have a corolla grande 2016. A few days back the driving side seat buckle lock stopped working, like the belt hook wont go on. On detailed inspextion i found a small coin stuck inside it. Today went to a nearby workshop and got it removed. Now the problem is that even when the seat belt is not on, "Put Seat Belt On" light wont blink in the meter. Any help will be highly appreciated.

PS: there is one grip which seems to be attached firmly.

Temperature on ac vents is 11-12C, RH 16%,
outside temp 35-36 degree C, relative humidity 30%
Is ac fine or needs servicing? Or it should be 5-6 degree C?

(Temp reading noted when engine was warm and ac was on for 20 mins, temperature was constant)
