I have seen multiple swaps of 2NZ-FE in EE90 models but of course with alterations, little misalignment could cause axle boot to be worn every week so be careful about swapper's skills BTW in which city, you are located?

If in Karachi, then you can easily get all done.

Parts of 2nz-fe is easily available and in economical price. In 2000, 2NZ-FE has won the International Engine of the Year award in the 1-litre to 1.4-litre category.

That honda engine swap will be chaotic for a EE-90 total Waste of resources

If at all you are hell bent for a swap look for 5A-FE it will be a bolt on swap

why to go for honda engine when you have the toyota engines of same age/gen available i.e. 1nz 2nz etc. And many workshops are swapping 1nz 2nz in 86, 88, 96 corolla these days.
To cut it short, toyota engine will give you much less pain as compared to honda one.

People dont rectify root cause and try to swap the engine......to rectify the issue is hell lot cheaper and hassle free than swapping......for corolla 88 7afe lean burn is hell easier to swap and fuel economy is better than 2e engine plus lots of power and instrument panel is compatible too

I am facing this issue lately that when the car is standing with AC switched on the idle drops when the compressor kicks in, it's worse when the car is in D compared to N or P. Generally when i turn on the AC the engine sound changes. I am sure i am not explaining it well but any ideas what's the issue. My guess was IACV.

I have a question, the gasket for thermostat valve housing is usually available in paper type which doesn't provide a good seal and eventually starts leaking. I was thinking to make a rubber gasket by cutting an old tube to gasket shape.
Is there any possible issue with this plan

rubber wont work, get a sheet metal gasket made coat it with sealant

Can you explain the reason why it won't? On some cars, I've seen the thermostat rubber ring is the only thing that provides the seal.

Also what's the reason of sheet metal gasket? The mating surfaces are already smooth. How about just using a bead of high temp silicone gasket maker? Is sheet metal still better than this setup?

sheet metal will provide better heat transfer, a thin film of gaskit marker will also suffice.
