Good day Xulfiqar Bhai.
So I have a leaking brake line in my 05 civic. It's easier to find a replacement braided steel line abroad but I am unable to locate one here. People do make straight pipes here in Karachi which you conform using a bending tool but I am not so confident in its quality. Just to make sure, I have asked honda sugoi and Nasir autos for an oem replacement part but apparently they don't import them here. Can you suggest what can be best solution for this.

a shop in karachi plaza market in chaat wali gali 4th lane on right they are the tubing experts. the shop also deal in sports & heavy construction machinery class tube linings. i could not find the name card of the shop but they are quiet known for their trade craft. in 2018 they provided us with caterpillar shovel hydraulic & pneumatic hard tubing for under Rs, 25000 which were quoted for Euro 1500 for a single set without duty & taxes. we gave them samples / length and it was 5 days job for them. The shovel is running perfect

I regularly make brake lines by hand - even did that back in Pakistan too. I just used some proper extruded brake line tubing which I bought from a shop in chaat wali gali in plaza market (about 100 ft spool of 3/16 line). Lalukhet daak-khana market and lawrence road market is also great for such items.

I already owned a bunch of flaring tools and buying flare coupler and end nuts is easy (same shop) - maybe its the same shop uzeemmujeeb is mentioning.

Honda also used sell the lines but they are sold as straight pipes with ends - which was a giant pain and expensive too. my own hand bent lines were perfectly formed and worked sweet. I even added strain reliefs too to prevent cracking.

Nowadays here in USA I use cunifer lines which are fantastic - they are rust proof and bend like bubble gum compared to steel.

My civic 2000 vti oriel manual was driven in recent rain in moderate waters not too much. But now steering is pretty hard in lower rpm range. Previously also my rpm goes low on ac like 400-500 but the steering was easy to move but now it is getting pretty hard on low rpms and normal on high rpm. What could be the cause? Also fluid level is ok

What's the diff between these engines?
I cant seem to find anything concrete as to why the red top makes more power than the greytop.

The specs are the exact same.

Is it just the ECU used that makes the difference?

The greytop I'm referring to is the one found in the Rav4 and Caldina...not the Altezza (BlackTop rwd)

its not a switch but rather a sensor when its the 3 pin one. One wire is 5V reference, one is ground and one is signal to the ecu.

you can google tundra power steering pressure sensor and you will probably find a ton of videos too as there was a service bulletin for them regarding this same sensor. Its quite simple to be honest.

I have a land cruiser 80 series with the 1fz fe.
on the highway i get 6.5 kmpl (with ac) but in city I’m not getting anything better then 2.5 kmpl (with ac) that too with a very light foot what could it be??
And the vehicle lacks power downshifts to early doesn’t want to upshift all that much i need pedal to metal it in order for it to upshift
The idle is slightly rough

Assalamu Alaikum Everyone

I need help regarding a TLC. I don't have any experience at all so will be thankful to get assistance.

Recently got an auctioned TLC LJ72. Its engine was dead so replaced its engine with 'kabli" upon the suggestion of few mechanics. The issue I am facing is High RPM / engine rattling on 90-10 KMPH. Cannot tell exxact RPMs as RPM meter is not working at the moment. Is there any way to reduce RPMs on highway.

Toyota LJ72 1991
Engine: 3L (2800cc diesel)
Gearbox: G40 (5th gear was added already, As per mechanic)
4x4: Not Working (No shaft in place)
Rear Diff Ratio: 4.88 (39/8)
Tyres : 205/80 R16
Engine Oil: Using Delo Gold Ultra 15w-40

Its genuine engine was 3L and the replaced one is also 3L but noticed that replaced engine is from Hiace. Concluded this because its engine oil filter is on driver side and installed filter is 90915-TD004 which is usually known as Hiace filter. Need advice to lower its RPMs on higway. 95% on road use in middle Punjab. If it will allow, a trip to North once in a year.
