Coz they showed me pistol and waved me to stop....and my ignorance I didn't bothered to know helpline of ring road........I just dialed 1215 in despair but also handling my old car at such high speed so I cant enter by stopping at entry point.....I just exited from the exit along which I know the route otherwise they would have grabbed me after exiting ring road....I just lost them and exited from the place which I was supposed to

Is it necessary to have petrol-return fuel line in Carby cars.

I came to know that in 3 of our carby's car, no one has petrol return fuel line, Bolan 93, Khyber 95, Mehran 89.

Reason may be because of small look after, mantained(so called maintained) by same mechanic of Mohalla

What will be the disadvantages for absence of petrol fuel return line/pipe?

Will it be safe to use this way with family?

Will it cause any difference in mileage or average consumption ?

Yes it can cause float to overfill and cause fuel leakage and smell and wastage of fuel

Need some insight from the experts.

Today I started my car which was parked since last 10 days in order to avoid the battery drain and get the fluids circulated. I was only supposed to leave it running for 10 minutes or so. But my negligence, I went inside and got busy in some other tasks, I totally forgot and after 4 hours I went outside and realized that my car is still idling.
I know that it is not good for engines to idle for too long specially small petrol engines but how much exactly can it deteriorate the engine? Any immediate measures such as early oil change which need to be taken?
Car was parked in a shaded open area and outside temperature was 27-28C. Didn't notice any weird smell or abnormal engine temperature either.

PS: Lesson learnt, no more unattended engine idling from now on.

If thermostat was present and fan was auto nothing weird would happen

Reading your post seems like I am reading my own case As same happened with me last month. My Cultus 2019, kept on for 3 hrs for battery charge Car was parked under shade with front, Back and sides were open.

Thanks God, AC was not ON.

as @Mirza967 mentioned: Auto Fan was working fine so nothing happened to car and felt nothing strange. Just my fuel avg went down from 16.3 to 15.3 after idle running of 3 hrs.

Aoa @xulfiqar last night i was on ring road and a car started to chase me with people holding guns in their hands....I have daewoo racer.....so I pushed my car to its limits and attained 175kmph........rpm was around 5000 .....Alhamdolillah I lost them but after I left ring road and reached on normal road....tik tik noise started to come from engine....kher I parked and it was from valvetrain like stuck lifter ......kher I turned off and gave her rest for 15 mins ...after I started her no abnormal noise ...everything was normal.....I checked oil ...it was normal ....today l checked oil pressure too ....that was 9.5 at idle and when I opened throttle it went to 58 and maintained at that...what would be the problem ?

Nothing to worry about

Its a GM engine, you will need a bomb or do something really stupid to blow it.

Remember this.

A GM vehicle may run like trash, but will run like that beyond any other brand of vehicle you can ever imagine.

Thanks sir.....I was worried as I thought my lifter cam or oil pump has gone kaput.......oil I m using is delo gold ultra 15w-40.....someone said that u pushed the car so the oil has gone really watery.......I laughed at him as delo gold has 137 viscosity index and it can bear the beating of a perkins turbocharged diesel engine which is hauling 50 tons on a steep climb and it doesn't thin up.....how it would thin in a simple cheap cool running naturally aspirated engine

GM 3800 v6 series 2 and 3 do 28 mpg highway regularly in real world driving conditions.

And is supremely easy to maintain and service too!

So at the outset I will plead my ignorance in engineering and mechanical jargons. My question is that is it impossible to remove the clutch altogether in a manual transmission? Is it possible to have a manual car without the need to press clutch over and over again while shifting gears? I know that paddle shifters are there in automatics for mimicking this gear shifting but still, they are not the real thing. What's your take on it?
