suzuki G10 resleeve? its an open deck engine, pretty tough to resleeve those.

make sure the piston to bore clearance is set as the factory wants, not as the mechanic wants, same with the bearings. Make sure everything is perfectly in tune when engine is started.

For first run, give it short bursts of high acceleration to 80% of rpm redline - let it slow down itself on overrun (make sure dashpot is working in carby) - about 10 runs are more than enough to seat the rings

Just drive normally after that. - change oil at 500 kms - then follow normal oil change after that.

What about the initial idle to warm it up and checking it for leaks? How long should it be idled, keeping in mind the hone pattern on the cylinder walls? Is 1 hour safe (they said that they typically idle it at the factory idle speed for an hour or so).

About the resleeve, today I learned that blocks come in open deck, semi open, and closed deck :P. Maybe its their first G10 build - they mentoned a possible resleeve in the final repair bill (compression test - engine hadn't been disassembled yet). I did ask them for a max expense, no-compromise cost estimate.

It ain't worth changing engine of reborn to civic x because hp and torque is almost same

the 10th gen Civic has a cvt transmission while all the predecessors had automatic transmissions
9 and 10th gen civic had econ to help with efficiency but the difference isn't much

@Xulfiqar Sir I have a query, if you can kindly clarify?

Is it any significant difference between the oil used for Limited Slip Diff (LSD) and ordinary Diff? Or is it a marketing gimmick only?

Secondly, if LSD oil is filled into the diff, shall it do any harm to it?

The basic difference is oil viscosity and additives.
LSD oils have thick viscosity and high grade additives also known as friction modifiers. sir @Xulfiqar has explained it few times in recent past. accidental pouring of regular differential oil into a LSD will bring no immediate harm however result in high repair cost in long run. accidental or mistaken pour shall immediately be drained. oil be replaced with correct grade and specs.

Aoa @xulfiqar last night i was on ring road and a car started to chase me with people holding guns in their hands....I have daewoo racer.....so I pushed my car to its limits and attained 175kmph........rpm was around 5000 .....Alhamdolillah I lost them but after I left ring road and reached on normal road....tik tik noise started to come from engine....kher I parked and it was from valvetrain like stuck lifter ......kher I turned off and gave her rest for 15 mins ...after I started her no abnormal noise ...everything was normal.....I checked oil ...it was normal ....today l checked oil pressure too ....that was 9.5 at idle and when I opened throttle it went to 58 and maintained at that...what would be the problem ?
