Hi @Xulfiqar I have a Prius 2005 1.5 the AC is not cooling now after adding gas and service of the AC it's still not working. the bad news is that a mechanic told me that there is something to change in Dashboard he said it's going to cost me a fucking 40k for it. now my problem is not money. its authenticity mechanics in Lahore are fucking khaal utaru. how can I trust that I am not being halal like a Bali ka bakra. i need guidance and a very good Prius AC/regular mechanic.

AoA@Xulfiqar hope you are doing Good.I have to replace Water pump on a GLI 2010.2nzfe engine.I have found GMB pump from the market which is made in japan. 2nd option that i have is Aisin water pump.There is a price difference between two.Which one should i choose.And while installing should i apply RTV on pump edges or just install the pump with gasket included with the pump and apply no RTV.I have planned to use Caltex coolant afterwards too.Can this coolant mess with any of these Pumps/gasket/RTV.
make sure your mechanic cleans the surfaces perfectly nice and use the supplied gasket, if the surface is gouged or scratched or damaged then a touch of non setting gasket maker like shellac needs to be used on the gasket. - do not use RTV on the gasket as it will tear it up.

between the two I always choose Aisin (pronounced "aeesheen") as its a much better product, even when outsourced their quality requirements are much higher than cheapo no name brands.
I am able to find Permatex Shellac.Indian head.Will it work?
yes thats the right product if your gasket surface is gouged, scratched or generally messed up on the engine. paint it on the new gasket.
Its Cheap i am going to order it incase i need it at that time.
for scraping the old gasket find a junked copper pipe from an AC supply shop, hammer it flat and then sharpen with a file or oilstone - use that to scrape the gasket off.
copper is much more forgiving when dealing with gasket scraping.

No it wont work for rubber O rings, if the sealing surface is damaged for O ring, part replacement is required.

Owner of a w204 c200 Kompressor thats 122k kms driven. Used as a 3rd car. Previous owner used Profikar 10W-40 as mobil oil. He Changed the transmission oil at 70k kms. I changed the mobil oil using the same profikar 10w-40 in jan 23 and was not in Pakistan. Car was driven 3k kms only on that oil. Mostly short trips and few long (pesh to isl) trips. Should I change the mobil oil now as oil seems clean. And whiat mobil oil should i use thats not very expensive since again it wont be driven much. Please guide abt the transmission fluid too. Lastly i drained my radiator completely and poured distilled water about 3.5l alongwith a german coolant of 1L. The reservior bottle seemed full. Please guide abt all three ( mobile oil , transmission oil and coolant).
No need to change either. The coolant mixture however i believe is too dilute
