Can anyone guide from where I can find silicone oil for filling in fan clutch in Rawalpindi

Assalam alaikum, I'm facing slight rough idle on LC100 V8. I feel abnormal vibration from engine by seats and steering wheel which shouldn't happen on these silky smooth engine. Upon turning on A/C, it kinda smoothens out as rpm raises slightly. No CELs. Fuel economy is also decent upon babying it giving above 4.8 km/l and 6.5 km/l at 110 km/h cruise. Exhaust fumes are also pretty strong. Power is great at lower rpms however when flooring, it get dulls then at 3.5k+ rpm to which I think is due to lack of VVTI in these motors. So far following has been done at 65k km ownership:

Replaced Fuel pump assembly. (significantly improved performance and eliminated lean code)
Replaced external fuel filter
Done spark plugs
Throttle body service along with MAF sensor cleaning

Below are idling figure figures. Is there any abnormal figures especially looking at fuel trims?

Maybe check ignition coil.
And please also try resetting ECU by disconnecting battery for approx 30 mins

@Xulfiqar bhai, I have ford escape 2015 model 289000 driven. one year before I change gear. after that I am feeling that there is more heat in engine compartment. heat gauge is working fine and at normal position (one time car got heatup, that time gauge show). I asked 2,3 mechanics, they told if gauge is not showing heat it is normal.
I have to travel long almost 1400km on eid vacations and here heat will be more.
please advise me, what to do? is it normal or not?

If it were ignition coil issue, it would’ve sound bad and give codes. I had some work done which required to disconnect the battery which didn’t help much.
I’m thinking to get fuel injectors clean, maybe that’s the issue as I can hear some tick subtly in uniform order.

maybe it could by dirty fuel injectors, or dirty air filter.
Maybe you should disconnect battery properly for 30 mins.

First once you disconnect battery terminals, turn on the headlight switch to let all electric power be drained out of the system then wait 30 mins and see.

Get a mechanic to check the coolant concentration level to make sure its 50% and not more than that.

use mobil1 0W40 euro spec oil and BASF G48 coolant at 50% concentration, Your car probably has the 5 spd gearbox so use the old red 134 ATF - and change the filter too (dont try to wash it)

Do hard tires reduce life of suspension in the long run. is it true
will effect the damping
car corolla 2010 with has soft suspension but hard tyre is install
every one is saying hard tyres will destroy the suspension quickly

@Xulfiqar what is your take on replacing transmission fluid on A750F transmission. Mileage is 122k miles and don't know about history.
It takes slightly longer to shift from 1st to 2nd gear and a noticeable jerk about 80% of the time when downshifting from 2nd to 1st while braking. Sometimes it does not shift to 5th while cruising, and a restart fixes it. There are no codes.
Should I drain and refill or do a pan drain with filter replacement. I'm not sure whether to go ahead or not as WS oil is expensive and most people say don't change fluid if it hasn't been changed in a long time as it can cause slipping issues.
It's a 2010 Hilux

This sounds more like an engine load parameter problem, have the system scanned and check the MAF value and total engine load at idle with no heavy things on. Should remain under 20% at settled fully warmed up idle.

messed up MAF values can cause shift elongation and also cause system to drop out of overdrive, also check if the engine operating temperature remains stable and at thermostat temperature. If it overcools, it will shut down overdrive and cause delayed shifts again (it does it to warm up the engine quickly again)

@Xulfiqar Load values are within spec. Coolant temp also remains within 86-90 degree C. I was thinking maybe some shift solenoid is getting stuck as I havent found correlation to any parameter when it fails to engage overdrive.
My speculation is that when that downshifting jerk is strong enough then something gets stuck which causes overdrive issue, although it hase not happened in last couple of days, I plan to check solenoid on/off values while driving when it fails to engage overdrive. Can you offer your insight into this?

Data stream screentshot when warmed up is pasted below. Also can you look at EGR values? sometimes I get P0400 code, planning to get EGR and turbo inspected/cleaned.

Do a running datalog and see whats flaking out, toyota units are pretty robust and have a lot of margin before error happens

Salam. My LC 80 has had water used in its radiator since before I bought it and all mechanics advised me against converting to coolant given it might cause leaks etc. The car has Alhumdulillah never had any overheating issues.
As the summer this time around is quite harsh, I was wondering if I should drain the water and pour coolant in the radiator. I have gotten a lot of mixed opinions on this, what would suggest? Would putting coolant in the radiator now cause issues such as leakages etc. or is it a good idea to do so?

Any other experience pakwheelers will be grateful to hear your thoughts as well.

It will only leak if its already weak and would eventually leak with the next few months

Salam @Xulfiqar bhai. I have been facing low Idle problem in my car (Honda City 2002 Automatic), engine is swapped to D16.

The idle is around 900-1000 RPM, but as soon as I shift to D/R from P/N car drops around 150-200 RPM and starts idling at 700-750 RPMs, turn the AC on further 100 RPMs are lost and it idles then at 600ish RPMs.

AC is properly wired through ECU, have verified using OBD scanner that it detects AC going on & off. Also verified it increases IACV values wrt to load, it jumps from 20-22% to 40-42% when you switch on AC. But still the RPM drops.

Can you or someone else here please guide me what's the issue here?
