the thinner would not mix with the petrol , and it will just sit at the bottom of the fuel tank, and yes i have tried to mix thinner and petrol just as an experiment

Sir both compounds are hydrocarbons and nearly have same densities and are generally miscible too.

The fluids like Thinner, Acetone, etc. are miscible in regular gasoline since they share many similar chemical properties.

however they can't be use a complete replacement of gasoline either.

@Xulfiqar Assalamualikum bhai. I am facing an issue with my honda civic 2000. It has a d16 vtec engine. When i get the car refueled it starts feeling sluggish and the when i hit the race pedal it feels as if it is stuck. But when i get the car fueled up while the engine is running and the car is start. It does not do any such issue.

@Xulfiqar I bought a used Alto 2019 and the last owner was using tap water in radiator. I went to the mechanic for him to drain the system completely, service the radiator if needed and replace it with Red Carrera coolant. He told me that your radiator is fine and don't fill it with coolant keep on using tap water or if you are more concerned just put AC water in it. He told me that I can't guarantee if the water body or hoses burst if we fill it with coolant. Should I put coolant in it? And if so which radiator wala is good and knows what he is doing in Lahore?

Nothing will happen, but you have to make sure that you are draining the water completely for correct water coolant ratio i.e 50% ir visit @syncview

Salam @Xulfiqar & Everyone.
I bought a honda civic 2013 model 113000 km driven.
Previous owner said he was using Mobil One 5w30 engine oil (I actually dont believe that)..
I changed the engine oil & used Zic 10w40 on mechanic suggestion that car is driven 1 lac +
I was skeptical but now oil was changed & didn't wanted to waste that. Now car is driven 3000 km so should I get the oil changed back to Honda original 5w30 on this oil service interval ?

A good radiator flush with distilled water will remove any rust buildup. Use caltex concentrate mix with distilled water or go for suzuki premixed coolant.

Keep on driving till next change, then use whatever the book recommends as lightest oil. Please stop visiting ill informed mechanics who never graduated from 1930s engines.

Ive never found this beneficial, you can scrub this clean everyday and it wont matter even 1% - the system is designed in a way that this coating wont affect it.

The issues in these engines is leaking intake manifold gasket and malfunctioning pcv valve.

I know he is like hero here at forums in sense of auto knowledge. But from professional point of view, none of his videos makes any sense. I mean the quality to shoot or the explanation or the visibility, nothing is upto mark. You cannot shoot the video with mobile camera in one hand and working with other.

And secondly he has turned off the comments too. Why?

Its easy to troll others (chrisfix, scotty, eric, etc.) rather than making quality videos by himself. and I believe my above two messages will also be deleted before he even reads them by himself
