We couldn't even touch the bonnet, had to use a glove to handle it. But you might be right, as you have more experience with these.

Could you reccomend any great shops anywhere in LHR or Sheikhupura? Money isn't an issue, but OEM Parts and honest worksmanship is.

I've heard diesel engine oil is used in slugged up gasoline engines since diesel oils contain more detergents due to soot formation etc. How true is it?

Assalam o Alaikum. Corolla Gli 2010. I changed oil and radiator coolant from Toyota dealership mirpur AJK. Since then car is dropping rpm randomly. Starts fine. Drives fine, but occasionally rpm goes down around 0.5-0.6 but the car does not stall. Yesterday I was just pressing accelerator on idle, the rpm was not moving above 3,4 with wierd noise. I went to my mechanic , he cleaned throttle body and reinserted battery terminals but issue is still there. Can you please guide what could be the issue.

I bought these injectors with holders for my 5L E engine. Wanna ask if these come pre calibrated from factory or need to be calibrated.

Pop them on a tester to confirm.

Test on slow pumps, do not ram the pump down.

i got it checked electrician fixed it now it show kinda accurate reading but sometimes it moves freely mostly on downhills n uphills like steep slope it goes from F to middle then to F

Salam @Xulfiqar bhai. My Alto AGS' high beams stopped working, even the blue light on dash wasn't working when switching to high beams.

Long story short, female connector pin (in the steering column cover) for the high beam was burnt. Got the pin replaced, and electrician wants to install a relay for high beams as "in gaarion ki wiring weak/unreliable hai"

My question is why didn't the Suzuki itself hasn't installed some relay or something that can tolerate the high beams load. Is it bad design or is it something common? How common is it for the pin to get burnt?

PS: No LED/HID shodapan installed, I rarely use high beams.

What bulbs are in the headlamps?

Genuine 55 / 60 watts?

I am not sure as I never changed them during my ownership, don't know about the previous owner, I'll check though and update here.

Btw this means that connector & wiring are durable enough to handle 55/60 watts and there is actually no need of relay?

The factory uses good enough wiring gauge and connectors.

If you faced burnt out pins, then you may have a bad ground side on the circuit, check it loaded.

Local lektrishanns are dumbasses and dont know how to do this test, they jump to “relay lagado, halki wiring!!!”

@Xulfiqar or any other pakwheeler - i have been facing an issue in mehran 2017 which i have asked helped for but couldn't find exact reason of issue. Issue is that its fuel guage first doesn't used to show correct reading - I got it checked the wire under back seat - got the guage checked in fuel tank - had the dashboard opened as well. Now it shows correct reading to some extent but needle moves freely always at downhills/uphills sometimes in static position as well. I don't know which thing i should get replaced. Don't want to have tank/dashboard open multiple times since mechanic/electrician would most probably open a new list of issues due to carelessness

Update on this.

Bulbs are genuine 55/60 Watt, verified it. Also asked electrician to test ground side loaded, not much of a voltage drop (0.1-0.15).

He has done that aesthetically shit relay stuff i.e. switching relay on via assembly signal and drawing power directly from battery for the headlights. "Ab kabhi nhn jalega".

What else can I look for if it isn't a bad ground? Any other symptoms or issues that I should address?

If the fuel gauge swings out wildly

Remove the fuel gauge float bridge from the tank and test it manually or use a set of resistors to simulate the float and see if the gauge moves on its own.

He did with a test light with digital voltmeter. Test light clip on battery ground, probe on the headlight wire just where he's taking the new ground from i.e. a bolt around fender. Nothing on test light, nothing on the digital voltmeter, says "0.2v se neeche nhn ata kuch matlab sahi hai".

Can such low readings be detected by a test light, or should I try it with a multimeter myself. I am asking this because I feel like even if headlights have a new, better ground now, there might be other components along previous ground wire that might be at risk just because electrician is being lazy.

Search on google how to do a correct loaded voltage drop test, your electrician conjured an act for you.

The circuit is tested end to end to find potential difference when circuit loads up.
