AoA @Xulfiqar bhai,
Iāve noticed some oil seepage under my Mehran EFI during an oil change. Three different mechanics checked it ā all say itās probably the main seal leaking and that the engine needs to be removed to fix it, though one mentioned it could be from the oil chamber.
I remember you once said mechanics can usually identify leaks, but either they donāt want to or arenāt sure ā and in my case, I have limited options.
Right now, the oil isnāt dripping or reducing, but I wanted to ask ā can this kind of seepage get worse over time, or is it safe to keep driving while monitoring oil levels regularly (e.g. morning and a few times on long trips) as I don't want to keep the car for more than 6-7 months from now?
For background: about 4ā5 months ago, my car overheated once (not severely). The mechanic then made the fan direct and removed the thermostat valve. Soon after, I noticed a gear oil leak, got the seal fixed, and changed the oil. Around two weeks later, this engine oil seepage started. Now thereās also noticeable vibration in the steering ā the car feels heavier and not as smooth as before. Could gear oil leaking, engine oil seepage, vibration, heaviness are all the after results of overheating?
Also the timing belt is not replaced yet car is driven around 140k kms
Would really appreciate your guidance, as im a newbie and don't know much.
