"Aspire 1.5" vs "Basic City 1.5" Comparison

I am planning on buying a new car. My choices were

City
Ciaz
GLi

As both Ciaz and GLi cost a lot, i am stuck with the 9 year old, twice facelifted Honda City.
Can you guys please help comparing Basic 1.5 to Aspire 1.5. What are the pros and Cons and advantages and disadvatages of one over the other? And a compact list of differences

Following additional key features are present in aspire as compared to standard variant:

1. Infotainment system containing DVD player with reverse camera and navigation
2. rear 2 speakers
3. Fog lamps
4. Leather interior
5. Alloy rims

I suggest one should go for standard model rather than for aspire because of the following reasons:

1. features identified above in serial number 1 ,2 & 3 can be obtained as "optional" in standard

2. leather seats in aspire are very expensive and color is not appealing. Normal seat cover looks better. so instead of buying such expensive leather interior with no choice of yours about color, one can go for own choice of interior from market with much reasonable rates

3. delivery time of aspire is higher than standard

The differences are purely cosmetic. You can decide if you want to pay for 'soorat' or 'seerat'.

you are right. one. however, if one want to install infotainment system with navigation and reverse camera, then he should get it installed from honda dealership by way of opting as an optional feature at the time of booking because usually (may not be always) after marking fitting of such electronic equipment is not durable and often malfunctions

But still the best in the market with bith front and rear cameras and high end android head unit cost maximum around 40k and the City navigation unit “which i heard is giving many issues to consumers” costs about 50k

What is “ECO” in Aspire speedometer this ECO is not present in Baaic city 1.5. Is it ECO idle or just a bluff by Honda

Aspire Also have an ECO mode indicator in instrument cluster. I heard there is an option of Black Leather interior as well.

Also the current Aspire comes with "wooden" panels on the dashboard and doors any they look ugly as h***

I would suggest you book1.5L standard and than add the options of Navigation with reverse camera, fog lamps if you want, rear door speakers etc

Front camera can be added to the Honda navi as well

To be honest. Interior of Aspire looked elegant in person than the basic. The leather seats had good finish and gave a premium look. Basic City 1.5 fabric showed wear and tear even in the new car parked in the showroom display. And the main thing that made the change was chrom around the knobs and silver lining around central AC grills which is black in Basic 1.5

This is just an indicator which comes on when your car is doing like 16kmpl or above showing that you are in a fuel saving mode and that is when you can try to keep the car in that mode and save yourself some fuel

Got mine 1.5 basic manual transmission from honda point DHA Lahore 2 days go on 45,000 onn
brother its true value for money just get the basic one and save the extra bucks and customise according to ur liking Aspire is not worth it plus the waiting period is crazy Aspire onn is crazy over 100,000/-
their leather seats, navigation, speakers rims are below par seriously bad not worth the money
their fabric seats are ok not terrible
things i will get upgraded
1.audio system /navigation
2.Rims /tyers

I my self purchased 1.5 L Aspire 2017 in Feb and I am happy with my decision. By the way the chrome knobs look a lot better than the standard ones. Plus I am satisfied with the seats as well.

My Aspire cost me 16,77,000/- but now it is almost 50,000/- more expensive in just 6 months time

Do they have EBD?? Some say they do but the Honda hasnt used the word anywhere in the brochure or the website. And the car doesnt have a single safety feature. Isnt it more like a Mehran with a bigger engine

No it only has ABS which is very good. No EBD though. Rest is just like mehran but a bit bigger 🤣

That Eco light is an indication of fuel consumption economy, not eco idle.

Ciaz trumps this in Safety features and exterior (imo) but only if Suzuki could have done better in terms of price and interior.

Brother, is the onn money same in karachi as well? if not, what is the minimum I can get in karachi?
And will the premium be same if I want to pay it in January to get my vehicle delivered?
