Mtlb jao manual ma mentioned ha wahi use karna chaya, agar manual nahi tao transmission ki dip stick pa mentioned hota ha ka konsa atf use karna ha.. Did u chk tht kixx was compatible.

The transmission service manual mention ATF T-IV, the owners' manual mention ATF WS.

There are overlaps between some transmissions, but its best to follow the transmission model number and then cross reference the oil type required as mentioned in the service manual.

e.g. if its U441E and S/M tells to use ATF T-IV then use T-IV - which is easily available in Pakistan sold by Mobil as 3304 ATF.

Mobil ATF 330**9** I think.

WS can be used in place of T-IV, but T-IV has a much shorter service life if used the other way round.

3304 was a typo, but the problem with using ws in tiv units is that it messes with the stall speed of the converter sometimes and sometimes causes issue in shift overlap too.

On a side note, I fill mercon V in toyota automatics requiring t iv, it has better service life.

Interestingly, Valvoline suggests its Maxlife ATF for both T-IV and WS applications.

Valvoline suggests maxlife for receding hairline too. They literally say its good in all stepshift automatics.

Yep exactly. But I cannot use mercon V in place of dexron VI or toyota WS

Tried it, bad results followed.

I do like valvoline maxlife though, it really works nice but their spec sheet needs a bowl of salt. So i rather choose to be sensible.

Mercon V is considered a heavy body hfm atf like toyota tiv or GM dexron. IIIH, chrysler atf 4 etc

Mercon LV, toyota WS, GM dex VI, GM dex HP, ZF 8 etc are considered low viscosity hfm atf.

I like to keep such separate.

Maxlife currently is low viscosity only, other manufacturers are offering 2 kinds of multi vehicle stuff which makes more sense.
